wow. that is a lot to play around with... in the desert temple pic, that first icon looks like trip hook. And that is pumpkin pie that is held; from the looks of it. Nice to see quite a few lovely things are going to be in this edition soon.:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I didn't expect the nether quartz so soon, i was happy sacrificing the jungle/desert temples to keep my current world a while longer, i guess i could always reset the nether though, just thought of something, say if you reset the nether do you get to keep all the blocks you have mined, if so you could keep resetting the nether to get infinite amounts of nether quartz.
yes that is true. i had ran out of glowstone so i went in the nether took my torches back, reset it, and i got glowstone again.

theres also variations on sandstone. the object in the second pic beside the "pumpkin pie" looks like a spatula, possibly its the hook for the trip-wire.
The "baby mooshroom plushie" teaser screenshots for TU14 contains literally everything else I hoped to see in MCX360, with the exception of enchanted books. (my confidence is high for the books, though. They just aren't explicitly confirmed.)
I'm so excited about this update.. I think I'd be content even if nothing came after TU14... except for maybe the obligatory TU15 bug fix of course.
Edit: Maybe not everything.. still crossing my fingers for the "No natural health regen" game option!
you know glowstone is renewable, as in killing blazes could amount in a never ending supply right? At least in the current edition.
yeah but why risk getting burned to death when you could just break blocks instead

It has been a long while since I've been on here but I felt I needed to point this out. If someone already has, sorry for saying it again.
The top monitor in the new pic from 4J is actually the Xbox One version of the game. Here is my proof...
The bottom picture is clearly from the Xbox 360 Edition. The buttons in the lower left hand corner are the exact buttons on the hud when playing the game. However, the buttons in the bottom left hand corner on the top monitor are different. They are black backgrounds with colored letters, exactly like the face buttons on the Xbox One controller.

Good enough proof for me.
I was going to disagree but then I saw dat draw distance on the top monitor. I don't think the 360 version has that much draw distance, if it does idk if it fades off in the distance like that. But that mountain is reaalllyy far off

"Only the trees which you know are not trees for food you may destroy and cut down, to build siegeworks against the city that makes war with you, until it is subdued." (Deuteronomy 20:20 NKJV)
I'm impressed, I really didn't expect them to bring this much stuff forward. Now I doubt we will see this till march, probably aligned with the xbox one release date.
I'm really hoping that when we get witches 4J can be talked into changing blazes dropping quartz instead of glowstone, since witches naturally drop glowstone dust, and quartz can be made renewable as well.
On a different note does anyone know what the item is on the right hand side of the top picture next to the emeralds, it kinda looks like name tags to me.
what do you mean by Natural health regen? ive never heard of that option. it sounds like my kind of option though.

That's why I usually take the risk at least once to get a rod, and make a brewing station. get some magma cream; then use fire resist potions while harvesting them...:D
Each to their own..

first welcome back mustache haven't seen you in a while. and though it is the xbox one do you think it would matter much? what i mean is that i dont think they've just completely forgot about the xbox 360, im sure they will add all features to both consoles.

I know it won't matter. It's just 4J's cryptic way of hinting that they're working on the Xbox One version, which they repeatedly tell everyone they have no comment on whenever someone asks.
I no longer have an Xbox 360 so I have not played Minecraft in months. I'm patiently waiting for the Xbox One version to come out so I can play Minecraft again. They've already said all the updates are going to be the same for every console, I just want the bigger worlds and better multiplayer already that come with the Xbox One version.

several people did. though it likely doesn't matter. like mustache said its jsut their way of confirming they are working on xbox one and 360, likely whatever hits the xbone will hit the 360 as well. at least as far as TU14 goes. there's definitely the posibility of divergence at a later date. but i think for now they will try to update them side by side.

So far the only thing 4J has said will be better on the Xbox One Edition is that the worlds will be larger and that the multiplayer will be expanded or more in-depth in some way.At the end of the trailer for the Xbox One Edition it says "Bigger Worlds! Bigger Multiplayer! More Minecraft!"

Natural health regen is the health regeneration you are granted for having a full hunger bar. A recent addition to the PC version provided an option to turn this regen off, making potions, golden apples, and regeneration beacons the only means of refilling your health.
So if we are getting emeralds I'm wondering if they are implementing the trading with villagers. I assume so but ya know what they say about assuming things.
Hi I started reading this topic because I was wondering if there was any mention of possible TU14 release date and decided to create an account if I have any questions or comments. Seeing as how I"m new to the forum I don't know everything that has been discussed. One thing I did read that I had a quick comment about was the animal spawns. I don't know if this is a common practice but I have always used feed to lure them into following me (I.E. wheat seeds for chickens and wheat for sheep, pigs, and cows). You just need to worry about finding two of each animal. Once you have 2 of them you can just keep breeding them as long as you have the breeding feed. Why hunt all over the place for more animals? When in all practicality to decrease frustrations with the spawns you need only to find two and you're set. Any input and arguments accepted. Just my thoughts on the matter.

or you could create a funnel trap and not risk being burnt at all while getting tons of rods and dust and xp.
