yea, seemed obvious to me....yea that resource pack doesnt look skyrim at all. the natural pack is closer to skyrim than that.... i figured the skyrim pack would look more like daku or doku whatever, its not bad at all, just not what i was expecting.
i am so glad they did this, not so much because i want the pack, granted i do, but more so im just really tired of hearing about it, lol.
now people will have to find something else to beg for i guess.....

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

yeah I guess. Then again I am not really your average person, so that would put me in the rare category I suppose. I was actually implying the same actually. It is obvious that there are many that would be that way no a days. Some skip the effort and detail and go strait to the insults with out checking to see what they are insulting. Met a few like that before.
I also happen to be one that has not even played Skyrim, although i wouldn't go out of my way to compare the two. Skyrim has landscape and minecraft has blocks. there really is no comparison there. The textures will be fine I am sure of that. I might have something I don't like in the pack, but not because it isn't skyrim enough. I really wonder why and how some of these people come up with some of these things. I guess I have a tendency to look at it for what it is, rather than what it should be. The second part being a bit more selfish than the first.
To define something as it should be implies that the creators where aiming to capture something specific. Of course they were/are, but it is not always the thing that each individual has in mind. Hence the complaints with each one. It is all conjecture, I think. Not sure if that is the right word for that, but was the best at this moment I could think of.
Personally I am more interested in how it will work with the way I build more than how beefed up the looks could be. I am one to not quite look at the graphics and say ooo ahhh... meh is more like it for me. If it works it works. if it doesn't I will probably still get it anyway and build with it anyway. There is a lot that pack adds; so creating a new world from the start would help with the creativity of it to some degree. Each to their own I suppose.
Love to see what gravel looks like in this one, and a few other things. As the natural pack had a pretty decent texture for gravel, which was surprising since I don't really like the new texture they switched to.

Well it looks like the Skyrim MUP will be giving us more than what the ME MUP offered us.
EckoSoldier posted a video on YouTube titled "Minecraft Xbox 360 Skyrim Mash Up Update & Minecon 2013! (2 NEW IMAGES)" Ecko shows off two screen shots sent to him by Bigbst4tz2. One shot shows one of the new character skins, the second shot is of an Iron Golem that has been reskinned as a Troll from Skyrim.

I'm really excited for this new pack. I'm hoping it comes out soon. 4J is getting better with their MUPs.

I'm looking forward to the Skyrim mashup.. My only concern is that it has 16x textures rather than 32x like the Natural texture pack. I was hoping that after the Natural texture pack they would go for a 32x standard. (Iron golems look fugly..) Although it's likely they were developing the two concurrently. It's a shame really, I think the Skyrim theme would work so much better with 32x textures. It would also make 4J's future DLCs more exciting to look forward to, but either way I'm still excited for the soundtrack and new skins.

Yesterday, for the Xbox 360 Halloween texture pack, I tried downloading it and got the error code 80153003. I looked it up, performed all the suggestions to fix the issue, then called Microsoft for a solution, they eventually said that it was a problem with the item itself, and that they couldn't do anything. Now i am reporting the issue, here ( I tried allot of other places to do so, but this was the first place i finally found where i could report a problem). I am disappointed because i wanted to get the Halloween texture, but today is the last day that it was supposed to be available.

oh man that sucks. though your only missing out a little bit. it looks pretty cool at first but its gotten quite dull and dreary. everything has a sad feel to it. i don't even use it much anymore. sometimes when minecraft gets dull i look to the sky to see the beautiful happy sky. but in this pack the sky reeks of sadness. ive been wanting to get the natural pack lately

Check your purchase history. If it shows up there even if you got an error downloading, you will be able to re-download it even after it goes off the market (so to speak) once the local MSFT cache of it is fixed.
I have to agree with this.. Perhaps 32x pack would take a little longer, while this doesn't seem to be the case with the Natural texture pack, I'd be ok with waiting for 32x packs.

haha trust me im actually very good. its very tiny things that get me in trouble. my father is crazy strict. though i also see it as when i get in trouble its a 90% garantee for something to come out meaning when i do get back there will be something new waiting. but seriosuly though i honestly dont see how i can get in such big trouble over such tiny tiny things.
