i never used the hoppers. what do droppers do i saw them but didnt test it out. trip wire i am hoping for. and yeah saddles should be crafted. if they do add that though my 15 saddles wont be as impressive since it could be crafted
as the name implies... instead of what dispensers do they actually drop the item in question when activated. With hoppers included, it can be used for many purposes. Droppers can shift items up if positioned correctly. There are many uses. For me though I would be just happen with hoppers. They both go hand and hand though in some instances, but I've only seen it used and not really tangoed with them as of yet.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

Other things might be based on various games that are out there as well. those are some ideas as well, although there might be delay due to getting rights to make and release such packs, but you can be sure at least some will accept and negotiations would go well.:D

all these are splendid ideas. i like the modern and bright colors the most. sometimes minecraft gets dull and it needs happiness thats why i use texture packs on pc. then other times i need to be ark and eerie. other times it just need to be crazy. all these are great way to implement them. oh and 4J if your reading this. add textures for the villagers too pleaseBTW whats up with the new animation for breaking stuff. i feel like im playing in slow motion and i stopped playing all together because of the new annoying hand animation. why did they take off the fast moving and replace it with slow and boring

I feel like 4j is forgetting about feature updates and are putting their focus on skin packs, texture/mash-up packs, and stuff that doesn't really matter. I could be wrong though. I just hope we see TU14 by the end of the year

know what you mean, minus the modern thing, as that isn't my style. >< On pc I customize my TP to my liking; ie, one from this and one from that and do that through out till I get textures for what I want things to look like. Would be nice if they did have a mix n match feature so I could do that. 1 thing on pc I always replace is gravel, which is usually something near the one we had before. Rest of it is usually fantasy/rpg style, if not dark ages up to renaissance eras. Edo Japan would be a good example of one era. But mainly that swords and sorcery type look or colorful cutesy ones like Dragon Dance one.
I am always not completely satisfied in the overall mix each pack offers, and the main reason I merge several into something I actually want.:D
I can only hope we will eventually have numerous ones to choose from, so I can hopefully get the ones I like and use them switching depending on my mood. hmm.. If you have ever heart of Shadow Hearts, I wouldn't mind a texture pack similar to the dark nature of that game. Then again that might be a bit much for the younger audience. I am referring to the 8- that could possibly be frightened by that kind of stuff. After all it is suppose to be a General audience game or something close to that anyway. Family oriented in the very least from my understanding...

Funfact, 4J has the Natural texture pack as their header on twitter. and it does not look like a 16x16 texture to me. I could be wrong.

I saw some screenshots of the new pack in a video posted by Bigbst4tz2. It looks freaking amazing. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect when I heard natural. But after seeing this, it's pretty amazing. Definitely getting this one when it comes out.

Actually a close examination of the Nether picture for this pack makes it look like 32x32. Given that the edge of the Nether walkway is 1 block wide. We can, with the image of that texture pack zoomed, see each of the 32 pixels for the width of the texture for that block by examining said rail of the Nether fortress walkway.

It's certainly looking interesting.
Like the look of the minecart.. Not sure really what to think overall, but it does look like a good pack judging from what I did see.:D
This like all texture packs I would have to see for myself, whether I would like or not...
