I hope that they are just really testing it out and making sure its a-ok. I seriously hope it comes out sometime this week or next week as i'm getting bored of playing the game because I know new things are coming and since we don't have them yet its the same ole' same ole'.
Coming from a guy who's generally very patient, I must say that this week I've been surprisingly anxious continuing to wait for the update. Let me preface this by saying I'm not complaining and I certainly know there's nothing I can do to make it come faster; I'm just sharing my feelings about the wait. It just feels like time has been ticking by soooo slowly. My rational mind obviously knows better, but the longer it's taking to hear anything about it, the more it feels like an abstract idea than something that's really coming.
I've literally been checking their twitter feed every few hours hoping to hear it has cleared cert. I'm holding out hope for Friday, but if there's still no news by then, I can't help but feel a little suspicion that they may have withheld the update because of the (possible) aforementioned building height bug seen in the playxbla live stream and quickly fixed and resubmitted it without telling anyone about it. Considering the flack that they would take from the community for letting a bug that significant slip through testing, I would not put it past them to fix and swap it in secret, nor would I hold it against them. They are not obligated to tell us anything so we wouldn't necessarily ever find out if that did happen.
Or everything's fine and it's just taking a while. No way to know. So I'll just continue to wait...
Its amazing what people minds can imagine when they are curious about something they really want to happen.

We know 4J can't make it come any sooner, we know that it'll be released when its cleared, but it doesn't stop the rush that anticipating something good brings and how it builds till it almost hurts. If anything, the jillions of "WHEN"S THE DATE??" tweets that PlayXBLA and 4J are getting just show how many people love playing with the toys Mojang and 4J have crafted for us.

I'm assuming the update will come out next week. Why? because I'll be on vacation. I had been lucky with every large update since the xbox got this game, that i had been able to play the night of the update.
So, next week I'll be 800 miles from my xbox. lol. I think my luck has ran out when it comes to playing new updates asap.

id love to say we as gamers can be bigger than this but unfortunately we aren't. and this is only the beginning wait till the sony section is added to the forums their will be xbox and ps people in eachothers forums attacking builds. who cares if someone plays another console. seriously we are all gamers. why cant we all jsut get along.
The past 3 months, I've checked 4J's twitter more than once a day. So I saw all the progress on TU12 as it was happening. Thats a lot of time on twitter. But now, I probably check 4J's twitter, and "tu12" search probably every 10 minutes... And I havent seen any progress.
Im starting to question if TU12 will even pass cert testing, and it probably will friday, so guess what, we have to wait out the weekend and then it will come on the next business day: Monday. Even more waiting.
I'm just saying if the updates start to take this long every time, we're going to have a problem in the minecraft community. Angry fans. I mean people have already made an "Anti 4J" twitter. Thats taking it too far. And I'll bet you like a week after the release of Tu12, people will be asking about TU14.

I was hoping that it would be here before the weekend, but its not looking like it is going to be. Wanted to play in the jungle with my sis when she came up to visit (480 mile drive) and one of my nephews is coming up as well was hoping to have us all playing together on it at least one of the weekend days.
Sadly it doesnt look like thats going to happen for us. Too bad, it not often they come up, so it doesnt look like i'll get another chance soon. Sis lives in a spot where inet is only available via satalite (unless she wants 56k dialup, blech). So she doesnt play xbox on it else shed use up the bandwidth fast.
*sigh*well maybe next year i can find something ubber cool for us to play.

I know, it was like that when when Xbox was first starting. I was only a member at the time, but I do know there is and will be a lot of console elitists around. You can find a lot of them in the news on the front page. I gave a one time warning in this topic that it is not allowed, so if people choose to ignore it there is no excuse of "i didn't know".

Nothing is set it stone, but personally (in my opinion), I feel that there will be a separate section for box 360 and One due to the multiplayer itself...

I think xbox one only needs a multiplayer section, until the 2 versions get different beyond the obvious world size. Even then thing would be quite similar to each other; just minor differences. Well the way i see it. hmm...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Is this normal for MS to take this long? I don't know much about the cert testing but this seems extreme. I thought about a year ago there was an initiative by MS to improve this process, but obviously that didn't happen.

Can not wait any longer. Unfortunately Tu12 would be done by now, however, another big update is in cert testing from a little game called Call of duty Black ops 2. It is bigger and is a money maker for Microsoft. Minecraft is at a big advantage there.*disadvantage.

TU12 also involves new and major DLC for the game. As publisher, Microsoft will be very interested in selling texture/mash packs to 8 million MCX360E players, so their marketing push for TU12 would - you would think - be a big deal.

The beta testing wont be over till october from what microsoft said, so this in itself could cause delays in the release of game updates do to the problems its been causing across the board.

yea public affairs people rarely do grunt work and usually only when your talking about a very small company. save a few game designers who gained rockstar like status like cliff Blezenski. in the same way the press secretary for the white house doesn't sign bills
