a little something about the breeding bug, i don't think it has to do with the spawn limit. I had animals in my world that couldn't breed, but then, I went onto to the other side of the world and was able to breed 2 random animals. I think it's more of a random temporary glitch, or it has something to do with chunks, I usually solve it by exiting and saving and reloading
I've been noticing that the Item has a very short render distance. I've measured the distance to be about 23 blocks away before it completely disappears. Has anyone else experienced this?
OTHER BUGS
Also a few things that were not covered is that compared to previous updates, the FPS has dropped a lot... Even as a host the FPS are terrible, another thing I noticed with the update is if you put a double piston extender facing upwards and put 3 or more sand on top of it, if you do not have a repeater set to full ticks then it will destroy the sand blocks, this never happened with previous versions. again this is a minor bug compared to the Massive frame drops that came with the update.
It's a lot less glitchy than TU8, but here's what I'm noticing:
Lighting glitches including lightning needs a block update sometimes in daylight under the shade or it will have minimum light level, sometimes underground areas are impossible to light, & lighting is slow to update in the Nether.
Your wolves attack you after shooting an arrow at yourself, wolves sometimes kill each other when breeding, & wolves destory boats when they follow you as you sail in the ocean.
Arrows don't hit ghasts from high trajectories. Ghasts also spawn excessively by bridges over lava oceans, making the bridge nearly unpassable.
Arrows don't activate wooden buttons.
Shooting arrows straight down a chute with minimal charge will eventually hit yourself.
Fence gates go off when there's a block update.
Dispensers don't suck up liquids.
TNT usually propells the player upwards, but its trajectory can be very inaccurate, and on rare occasion it may not work at all, resulting in variant results in the same situations (like a machine made to launch a player skyward).

i belive this is intentional and existed pre-TU8. i have died many times in a boat when i hit any wolf, tame or otherwise, and any other animal in the water except squiids. first time it happened to me i was approaching a sheep to shear it.
Bookshelves do not seem to be giving bonuses to the enchanting table.
I have a enchanting table that was surrounded by bookshelves (created before the update) and I can not get any enchantments above 16.
I have tried destroying several bookshelves and recreating them which has had no effect.
I have also tried destroying the enchanting table and replacing it; also no change.
I successfully applied two level 30 enchantments just this evening to my pickaxe. Since TU9 I haven't had a single problem with my enchanting table/bookshelves. I believe that if you have anything between your bookselves and the crafting table that it can negatively affect the bookshelf bonus.

Tested Blocks - Glowstone - Ice - Glass - All types of Leaf Block
Tested items (Confirmed unplace-able) - Ladders - Beds - Torches - Levers - All Types of Doors
- All Types of Pressure Plates
- All Types of Buttons
- All Types of Minecart Rails
- Redstone Dust
- Redstone Repeaters
- Redstone Torches
Needless to say, this could be quite the hindrance for certain types of redstone builds.
Yes, this is quite a hindrance. However, 4J probably had the intention of doing this, being that it wouldn't make sense to place rails on glass in Survival Mode.
I do remember, however, not being able to put certain utility blocks (beds, furnace, jukebox, i.e.) on ice before TU9. This would make sense, as it would be pointless to put your items in a room full of ice, then add lights, which would melt your "floor", which of course would just ruin the point of having a shelter in the first place.

I did not see this in know list but we had it happened during the end fighting the dragon on survival mode with all crystals gone his life bar became stuck and he would not take damage and when I the host tryed to damage him it would say i had killed one of the other people in the lobby when i was clearly swing at the dragon so we had to resorted to bring back tnt to kill the dragon this may be due to the lag every one is also complaining about in the end

Yeah, I just noticed that most of that isn't on the PC either. I guess the main point would be the glowstone, since that's commonly used in redstone circuits.
i also forgot about another bug i ran into that may cause a bit of a problem while droping items on the floor for a friend to have only me and him standing in the area he was not getting it all such as i droped a pile of 64 iron bars and he only ended up with 1 so 63 bars just magicly gone
Regarding #1, I have a Gold account and also could not load any saved games. This cannot be an issue just with silver accounts. The workaround that worked for me was simply to unplug my network cable from the console. I'm kind of glad that my XBOX is an older model and doesn't support wireless.
last post for today regrading unconfirmed glitch of invisible chests yes this has also happend to us but click on chest to open and close it makes it reappear
I've noticed a small bug whenever I start up Minecraft. I don't know if anyone else experienced it, but my gamma gets reset from 75 back to default when loading the game, yet it still says it's at 75.
It's not too big of a deal, but it might be a slight worsening of the bug that resets the gamma to zero.

Regarding #2: Lighting Issue. My husband and I have seen this problem in single-player and splitscreen. It appears to occur a little more frequently in splitscreen but is still common in single player. Also, it happens in both creative and survival modes. It does not need lava to be present as suggested by another post. And it does not require a specific digging pattern like "3 blocks down then straight ahead". Sometimes placing a light sourse (e.g., torch) on the black block will refresh the rendering but not always. The problem is at times so persistent that I have to exit the game and then reenter. So far this workaround has been successful 100%, but this isn't really viable (esp. for a game we had to pay for). As noted by others mining is very challenging when you can't tell if there is a block in front of you or a hole in the floor. Maybe I'll actually go the gym while 4J fixes this.

So far, no one else has reported this issue. Me and a few Live friends went and accomplished beating the dragon, and this problem did not occur. There is lag, but the only reason for the first noted issue you put is either temporary and severe lag as a result of the host's connection. This is not due to any bug within the game, but due to connection issues.

I called them today and they said it was a Content communication error between Microsoft and 4J they told me it was because I was in renewal today, they are working to correct this. the problem when away though they said to login to my account and click the link at the top left status to check back.
I have a weird bug and I hope someone else can confirm.
I have three worlds I have created since TU9 update. In all three worlds, the mode is survival, peaceful with a bonus chest, and single player.. Two of the worlds I have used seeds that were from TU8. In these two worlds, The bonus chest keeps reappearing at X:0 and Y:0, despite me moving the spawn point in one of the worlds...it still reappears, I empty it...save the game and when I come back, the chest is back with items again. In the third world, I let a random seed create the world, with the same settings. The bonus chest reappears even after emptying it, but at the spawn point I came into the world the first time. In my worlds, that I have previously started, the bonus chest doesn't reappear, so it is only worlds, that have been started since TU9 update.
Also in my last world that I created with random seed, in what I have explored so far, I have had One village well show up without a village. I haven't seen this in any worlds prior to the TU9 update, so is this a new feature or a glitch?
