Confirmed - All of the user accounts on our console, which are not connected to XBox LIVE at all, can no longer access their previous saves. So, only gold accounts...? Weird... and so not cool.
I haven't had much time to explore the update; but early this morning, we did download it with a gold profile signed into the Xbox. Then the gold profile signed out, and I did play for a short while using an offline only profile while it was the only profile signed into the Xbox. I saved and reloaded both an old world and an newly created one just fine. Obviously, online was not available to be checked in this case.
(Please Note: I'm not disputing anything that's been said so far... just adding some more specific information to the conversation to help 4J sort this issue out quickly... hopefully).
When using a dispenser to dispense water from a bucket, it will release the water from the bucket, but when activated again, it will dispense the bucket rather then pick the water back up. Unknown if intentional.
To add to the lighting issue, I just noticed lava was unlit (completely black) a moment ago. Mining a placed cobblestone with lava behind it, the flowing lava was unlit until it spread about two blocks.
Also, I honestly hate to the "that guy," but how soon can a fix for this be expected? This is my first update for MC, so I'm curious how soon bugs are corrected. Mining is unbearable with this bug.

Interestling, we've been seeing that same lighting bug after each update since tu7. In fact, I have several spots on a couple of TU8 worlds right now that do that.
I have a Tamed dog inside my house that was falling through oak wood planks and taking damage.Full oak wood planks not slabs. I believe pc had a similar issue.

Confirmed. Ive had to place torches down every three or four blocks mined to force a light update. I hate to say Im starting to get used to the slower pace.

I havent played much sp yet - but when I joined a friends game Creepers were extremely laggy. It would take them between 10-15 seconds to detonate. He has a real crap connection though (his games are the only ones I actually lag out of) so I will test this again with other hosts.
Love the new things. Say a few problems I ran into so far is...
-Spawn eggs don't "produce" the intended mob when placed. Ex: tried a creeper, but I got a flash of an image of it and then nada. (Found out I was in creative... oh silly Orb) lol Thanks for help on that part
-Lighting every now and then goes haywire... easy fix no doubt.
-Don't know if we can yet, but jumping off vines is sort of hard or not plausible.
Also off topic: What is this update equal to? (ex: TU8 was 1.9 I think?) Reason is to look for decent seeds.

You are probably on peaceful. My brother spent 20 minutes crying that TU9 was broken, then realized that he was on peaceful. LOL.

Ah, that explains so much. Lol I always put it on peaceful when doing creative just incase that one creeper comes by when I am building/breaking a block in my build.... not a pretty sight. Thanks for that info. Now to get back to my 18th century ship (now that I have better wood to work with Lol)
Skeletons always had a graphical error on their crotch, just get it outta here!
Also, the Santa Claus(?) skin has graphical errors when putting on armor.
i started a new world in creative, i went to place some fences and when i placed a fence down, it made the block underneath disappear. it did this everytime. i then went alittle bit over to a new place and placed fences and nothing happened, its only one spot that blocks are disappearing, i also punched one of the blocks and it made 4 blocks disappear? i havent find a reason for this? i even dug under to see if the end portal was below it to make sure it wasnt anything to do with that. so im clueless

Can't Jump off ladders or vines.
Farmland Doesn't revert to dirt when walked on.(Good Thing!)
Wooden Buttons Don't react to an arrow hit.
That is intentional

2.)Cannot grow melons and pumpkins on dirt, (this was in pc 1.1)

I have the same problem, you can't jump off of them either.
2.) Squids disappear after awhile after spawning them in water.
3.) Item frames when place attracts several of my tame wolves from different parts of the map. <--- This is a huge issue
4.) Some of the enchantment tables in my world are also distorted even when replace the distortion is still there.
