I still think there is a portal and if I had the save I could find it, I think because of the dynamics involved between TU8 and TU9 the portal gets pushed out some were your not seeing off the location pointer that being the bug, because the pointer is becoming detached or unset from the target location
Unfortunately world/save sharing isn't on the 360.
I believe it is related to the Xray glitch and lag... i.e. a quick flash of X-ray vision due to lag created by placing the block.
so the pick axe has to be doing the same thing as well with the flash because your just pushing the mining of the axe very fast an so you see the flash this cant be helped.
so the player will need to move off of this flashing I just never bother with it till now because I was not able to reproduce so easily before produce. I am having High packet loss today so I am waiting for someone to show up to replace a lease HW and reload the ips
I just quickly skimmed the preceding posts, but I'm guessing:
seed was generated in TU8 and was not explored beyond spawn point before saving.
TU8 stronghold is outside spawn point.
save opened in TU9. TU9 is inside spawn area and therefore does not generate on this save. Moving to TU8 stronghold zone also doesn't generate stronghold.
Eye of Ender are keyed to a value created when the map is first created "Point to this TU8 Stronghold location" and this value is not updated when the save game is brought over to TU9.
Two conclusions: update process can rarely result in a lack of stronghold, and in Eyes pointing to wrong location for stronghold, if map is not fully generated.
It also means you could rarely get two strongholds.
Nice Summary.
EDIT: Adding screenshots of the maps. TU8 created+explored and TU9 created+explored are taken right in front of the located End Portals. TU8 Created but explored on TU9 has the map at the Player Spawn Point.

EDIT: since we have a seed we know can produce a world without a linked stronghold/portal (debate exists as to if a portal may be found on the map or not the steps to create the map are listed).
Been trying to find a seed that might create 2 strongholds. Just to see if the converse is also true. If anyone has a seed on TU8 where the Stronghold is near spawn but significantly further away if you create that seed on TU9, please shout out. ECF is no good since both the TU8 and TU9 points are within the spawn area's explored radius.

Yes, actually where I first noticed momentary flashes of Xray vision was back in 1.8.2 when I was mining cobblestone using my first version cobblestone generator. I was frequently catching flashes of what the weather was doing outside my base even though there were no windows in that direction.
I don't know if this is some sort of bug or not, but every time I load my world after a save I get a new bonus chest close to where my working area is.
If you destroy your bonus chest, a new one will appear when you next enter the world. According to 4J some time ago, this is how they are intended to work. If you don't want a new bonus chest to form for you whenever you re-enter the world, then just don't destroy the old one (at least that worked before TU9... I haven't actually tested it again after this past update, but will try to remember to do that tonight to confirm.)
My tamed dogs attacked me- Shot myself with the arrow accidentally and my tamed dogs attacked me.. Hitting them brings them back to normal.. Might have to give my dogs the old yeller because of this bug..

I don't think so I think that is for people who spawn in the word with nothing I just leave it off

I'll try to remember to test that out tonight as well. Since players don't spawn in caves generally, it may have something to do with your having covered it over instead of just leaving it out in the open.

I never had a problem with this, or some other bugs people seem to be reporting.
Although there are some of the obvious ones that everybody is having (collision block on ladder, lighting, mobs phasing through wooden blocks), could it be possible that other random bugs can be caused by your connection to Live while downloading? I know it sounds far fetched, but when you think about it, people with the sam exact updates report both similiar AND different problems. As I said, I never had a problem with a dissappearing/re-appearing bonus chest, even if I destroyed it or kept it by putting it somewhere else.

No. All Xbox Live Content, including Title Updates are signed for you protection. Change a single bit and it would become an invalid package unable to be run (excludes virtually impossible items like hash collisions and malicious intent).

It's not really a disappearing/re-appearing issue. What some people (myself included) expected with the bonus chests is that they would only be there the first time a player entered a world. Instead, if destroyed, a new one is generated for them each time that player enters the world. 4J have indicated that this is how they are intended to work (at least on the Xbox). This may be different than the PC because of the existence of splitscreen mode.
However, if you don't destroy the chest itself or move it (at least each time I've tested it), that chest stays there empty and a new one doesn't generate when the player for it re-enters the world. The exception is if you exit the world without saving it the first time you enter that world. Then, your initial spawn point changes and a new chest will generate at the second initial spawn point regardless of whether or not the first chest was destroyed or moved before you exited the world without saving. What EvilDogBoy is saying is that a new chest is generated if you don't destroy the old one but merely cover it over; and I'll try to remember to test that out tonight.
In theory, it is certainly possible that different combos of TV and Xbox and Internet and Live accounts result in some bugs manifesting themselves differently for different users. If a connection is interrupted while downloading, the system, I'm sure, has means for detecting this. That said, however, sometimes deleting the game and downloading it again and/or clearing the cache do rectify some bugs.
Glith in split screen blocks are missing buggy to break you need to wait for the second pass that disrupts playse fix this only this glith in find and other people not talking
Yes, I can confirm this. A bonus chest emptied and left in place out in the open will prevent another bonus chest for that player from spawning the next time they enter the world; however, merely covering that empty bonus chest over with dirt will cause another bonus chest to spawn in the same vicinity.
Theres a fair few pages here so i don't know if this has been reported, Anyway it seems since the tu9 Update mobs have been able to squeeze through diagonally placed blocks, so if you were to build a circular house mobs can get in.
Edit: just thought I'd also say i'm 100% sure this
didn't happen prier to the update.
I'm not sure where I read this some time ago; but I have long been under the impression that leaving diagonal blocks for walls made a home base vulnerable to hostile mobs getting inside or perhaps it was spawning inside it. As a matter of course, I make any rounded walls two blocks thick such that there are no "corners" with only diagonal blocks touching each other.
This isn't huge, but when approaching a lily pad, it will glow green around the edges.
I observed this in a swamp biome walking towards it from about 10-15 blocks away. When I saw it, it glowed and seemed to "move" around the lily pad, then when I got closer the light disappeared completely.

I just found it strange that people are reporting issues that others don't have. I've tested several other "bug" people are reporting here, but they don't seem to be present for me, such as lack of mushroom biomes, mobs spawning in well-lit areas, and several others that I never dealt with.
UpUp_Away95 has a point about it being possible that lost connection in the middle of a download could cause something to not update correctly. XBOX live DLC's are obviously not corrupt, I'm very aware of that. I was suggesting that, like most PC download, if something isn't downloaded correctly some small issues may occur in a games script. After all, the XBOX is technically a computer.

Just to help you with this; I reported this back on page 9. To add to my post;I both destroyed the chest or just emptied it and in all those cases the chest had regenerated/obtained more bonus items.
As with the village's in the post I made with the the TU9 updated; I have noticed more villages with just the well present. There are normal villages too but no blacksmith's in them.
I have found some bugs in the end and I have videos and photos of it but I dont know how to put videos or photos in the posts, can someone tell me please? This bugs are anoying but I have no other way of showing them

The lag experienced in the End has already been reported, and its confirmed that it is caused by the crystals. Check page 1 of this thread on the official list, and you'll see it.

I am having lighting issues as well just like everyone else. But, also I have a minecart track in a tunnel and I have dug it all out and replaced dirt, gravel, etc with smooth stone and then laid down my track. When finished for the day saved and exited the game and a few days later I noticed the blocks I mined were back and also a block missing and water pouring out of it and it washed away part of my track that I had just rode on the day before. This has happen twice on my map..
