Help!My leaderboard Status Got Reset!
This is what i did that might have sparked it
1:I downgraded to TU1 for a GREAT Seed
2:Delated my Cache
3.Loaded Minecraft on TU1
4:Took my USB somewhere and lost it
5:played on a diffrent Xbox and i noticed my leaderboard status got reset
6:rewent on my default xbox and delated my profile ops see and redownloaded it and still noticed it was still reset!
7:PANIC.

Some help?? i have 2 questions

1:Is it stoared on a storage device?
2:is it stoared on that console porfile and dealting it reseted it?


I look like a newbe with my leaderboard reseted! HELP! I had mine more then 16 Million blocks of stone!
Edit:Well maybe not 16 million blocks

Holy spelling Batman! I heard deleting your cache might cause this, but i delete mine and i dont get reset so idk.

1. Leaderboards used to max out at just over 65,000 blocks. I haven't visited them lately, but I haven't heard that it changed so I assume that's still the case... So, it would have never reflected your total block count anyways. Going back to TU1 would probably confuse the issue further since it would essentially not have any of the bug fixes installed at that point.

2. The leaderboards have always been prone to resetting themselves... or at least many, many posters have claimed to have had their stats arbitrarily reset over the years and to not have a clue why. I believe 4J did make some changes in an effort to correct the problem at some point, but again... you went back to TU1 before those fixes were implemented. In addition, Live has undergone several updates and changes since TU1... so if there were any changes needed in Minecraft to accommodate those changes in Live... they would not be there in TU1.

In short... stuff happens when you try to go backwards with stuff that is not intentionally programmed to be backward compatible.

3. I believe there is a profile specific save data file for each user created on a console whenever a player first plays Minecraft on a particular console. However, I would think that data would also have to flow through Live (keep in mind that there is no Leaderboard activity recorded for any profiles that are not Live enabled nor for Guests of Live profiles. I say this because, when I was playing using a Live profile but offline, my stats would stay flat while I was offline but then the leaderboards would "jump" to reflect those offline events if I signed in online again.

I can't believe people still care about that.
It's nothing but a bunch of idiot cheaters and advertisers anymore (looking at you too, mob grinder users).

In simple: Stop caring. Leaderboards mean nothing in Minecraft other than to track your progress.
The buggy system deletes records at random, or so it seems.
I lost over 100,000 legit kills and over 2,500 Obsidian, and then stopped caring about what I get--you should do the same.

Leaderboards are meaningless in Minecraft, and in general really for any game. Always filled with cheaters.

Mine got reset too. I just looked at them once in a while out of curiosity. It really doesn't matter

Also for mob grinder users,how is that cheating?P.S my mob grinder is a enderman XP farm,and there is no count for enderman,but i respect your opininon.

And also Maybe not 16 Million blocks . I am just trying to tell you how mush.

The leaderboards dont even make sense. Who cares how much dirt and stone you mined. Shouldn't it be how much ores you mined?

If you have silk touch can't you keep placing the breaking the diaomond ores?wouldn't that make it unfair?

Wouldn't count since you're getting the actual resource block and not the finite material. If they really wanted to make leaderboards useful, I think the best thing to do would just to axe the whole thing and put in Statistics instead, similar to PC. If they were cheeky about it, add some way to view your friends statistics. If this came it'd be cool, if it didn't I wouldn't mind.

This is something that I've been wanting pretty much since I saw the idiots with 65,535 Spider Jockey kills while I had 14.
Private statistics amongst friends would be a lot better than who's the best cheater in the world.

The user is doing absolutely nothing but standing there and hitting things that cannot harm them. That's not how you get kills--that's how you be lazy.

Im not understanding why my LeaderBoards have been reset. I've stayed clear from modders,and have spent Many Hours playing this game to have it all erased. I understand and agree that those who cheat the system should be set back, PLEASE help me out understanding why my HARD earned LeaderBoards are now garbage.

Sometimes I lose partial sound and have to delete and reload minecraft. When I do that I lose everything on the leaderboards ( even though I have seeds saved on a stick). I have been in the top 1000 several times in hard survival but the leaderboards look like I just got the minecraft. it use to irritate me more but the leaderboards are hacked and broken anyway. I wish they would fix the leaderboard issues or get rid of them. I use to like to see where I stood with my friends.

I don't think 4j resets people. It just randomly happens.

I feel your pain bro. Just happened to me as well. Was top 100 in mining, top 140 in kills, and top 120 in traveling. Why do I care because it proves to those who have played with me or will play with me that I don't mod or cheat. My entire estate is made out of obsidian and it took a whole lot of time to mine those 46,000 plus blocks. Also I was rather proud of my 10,000 plus Creeper and Pigmen kills.

No need to cheat. Check my 3 world's and you'll see I always build the exterior of my buildings out of obsidian.

Well then we'll have to agree to disagree then. I don't do creative (never have never will), and as pointed out the leader board is of little to no use. For the rest of you building out of obsidian is neither as time consuming or difficult as made out to be. For survival it only makes sense, in my opinion. It's a lot like life, you only get out of it what you put into it, and a little hard work goes along way.
