If you have items (diamond blocks, enchanted swords, emeralds) and they are in a chest. You save the game. Your friend takes the items out (after the save) puts them in her inventory and leaves the game. Then you cut off the xbox (no save). Restart the game to the last save and your friend joins the game. Now do you have all the items still in the chest plus your friend has a duplicate of the items in her inventory?
Does that work? Does everyone already know about it; if it works?
I think thats not gonna work. My brother have to logoff and received a message about the host have to save or he will lose somenthing, i dont remeber all the message, but i think that have something to do about your question.
Besides, i made a research about multiplication glitchs and never found nothing about this.
I've never used duplication glitches.... what's the point. Takes all the fun outa survival, may as well just play creative.
I not using either,I just have make a research about.Maybe when I have made everything and the games becames boring, i get to makeone of these glitch, but i think this is gonna take a loong time!
Have 2 players in a game Split screen or Online, give player 2 all of the valuables. Save the game. Have player 2 drop all of the items or put them in a chest. Player 2 signs out. Player 1 picks up the items or just leaves them where they are, doesn't matter. Player 2 signs back in with all the items in his inventory he had before he dropped them. Repeat if you want.
This is the most basic way of duplication in just about any online game where you can drop/trade items with other players. Borderlands 2 and Diablo 3 for example.
It works because obviously the game doesn't have time to save when sign out, because it happens instantly.
Not saying this works for Minecraft, because iv'e never felt the need to cheat on it lol. But it probably does.
As far as my experience goes, this does not work in Minecraft. If an exit without saving occurs, the game always reverts to the last save which, in the case described, would be before the second player took the items out of the chest. The items would be in the chest, but Player 2 upon his/her return would not have them in his/her inventory. That said, I'm not sure what would happen if Player 1 played on without saving for a period of time and the game autosaved the Player 2 data (little chest icon) before the exit without saving occurred. Someone could test it though... just not me right now.
