I build a 23 x 23 storage sheed and when i enter it 7-10 times at night(For example comong up from my mineshaft which is leke 50-75 black awway from said storage sheed) as enter there a creeper in door blow up and destory half my wall...How can I stop this on walls I have 2-3 stacks of candles(if that not right name sorry)...What else can I do?
Trees and shrubbery. I always make bushes outside of doors and window for precisely this. Even if they have little to no blast resistance it provides a bit of a buffer between the creeper and my structures.
If you have pumpkins, make a bunch of jack-o-lanterns and put them in the floor spaced out about 5 spaces apart. This should light up the area enough that they won't spawn. I do this all the time in my slime areas.
