Last night I tried to share to Facebook a map of a new world I have started but when I look at the image in FB it doesn't display the map, Does the map need to be in a frame to share to FB?

i don't think you can share the map that way... So yes in a frame is the only way to go about it.

Unless you really want to use an external source, like a camera of sorts; although that method comes out not so well.
