How much nether quartz do you think each nether has? I'd like to build in my nether but I also want to stock pile a ton of quartz since it can run out. This means I'll probably have to reset the nether a lot until I have a substantial amount...but how much quartz do you think is in each nether on average, anyway?
I used Fortune III on the ores last night and came back with almost 3 stacks of blocks and another stack of Silk'd ore, and these were ones visible on the surface.
I wouldn't worry about running out unless you need an unholy amount, in which case, take to the ceiling.
I've harvested the Nether using quite a few resets before. Although you'll acquire more than plenty using a single world I don't see the harm in stocking up just to be safe.
