Ive noticed a very annoying problem with blocks breaking then immediately reappearing. But if u move back and forth or side to side every new block u hit it stops this. Hope this helps some of you.

Do you have a lot of redstone, hoppers, or animals around in the area this happens in? It sounds like a lag problem.
