if you haven't downloaded the city texture pack or are unsure about it, check out these pictures first before downloading. (you may call it a "mash up", i call it a "texture")
all images were taken by me. plz ask before re-using
how the texture appears in the texture list and the texture description
the blocks in the description look nice, but lets go into details
what's the first thing you notice? the loading background image
did that say amazing or what?
lets look at the hud and pause menu
did you notice the sun? if its too dark to read, try adjusting your gamma settings (in game)
are you hyped yet? no? lets peek at the inventory and creative mode menu
pretty neat huh?
nothing says exploration like the infamous map
the seed was generated as a superflat world
did i forget something? right! what is nighttime like?
dont fall asleep on me yet, we still have the actual building to cover
what are the blocks like?
was it more noticeable or did particular blocks stand out?
what are those blocks without those decorations?
lovely batch of paintings, arent they? now you can build your dream home
cant have a party without redstone and transportation
dont get too kinky on me, theres still more to go
we now hop to stairs and other useful things
stocked up? no?
well then, shop at the other items place
almost done!
shall we dive?
hows the saving?
hope you enjoyed the tour! you can either download and use or stick with what you got
sorry. i forgot the saddle pig in the hole with the redstone, already deleted the seed
Very cool. Thank you for doing this. I always get nervous about adding a new skin pack, so it is VERY nice to be able to see the whole thing in action before making the acquisition.

While we're on the subject, I'll throw this out there.
If anyone would like to see everything in-person in a texture pack (transmuted junk included), shoot me a message either here or on the 360.
I'm willing to open it up to any texture pack (Halloween as well) for anyone who wants to see.
(I will not respond to random friend requests, however.)
You forgot to include one of the most appealing features......Mobs in suits.
Good job though .
thanks. and yea...about the animals. after i already took the pictures and posted the topic, it was time to get off. i'll try to get the animals and enemies up within 24 hours
really? never noticed. are we talking about the music discs or the bg music in general? even with natural, nothing sounded different
That's because Natural is also just a texture pack. The only two Mash-Up packs made so far are Mass Effect and Skyrim. When you load those two packs, the background music switches to the same music used in those two games, respectively; and both have pre-built theme worlds based on the original game. For example, the Mass Effect Mash-Up pack has a theme world of the Mars base used in as one of the levels in Mass Effect 3. As a result of these additional features, the Mash-Up packs are more expensive to buy than the texture packs.
One of the best ways to sample a Mass-Up pack is to download the trial (which is free) and play for a bit in the theme world. You won't be able to save what you do, but you will get to hear the music and view the different blocks. In the Mash-Up packs, the blocks tend to be VERY different from their counterpart originals in Minecraft because they are being conscripted/used to represent items in the other game. This frustrated many people, particularly with the Mass Effect pack and, IMO, caused them to unfairly dis the pack when it was first released. If one takes some time to relearn the look of the blocks in the Mass Effect pack in particular, it can be a lot of fun to play with... causing a person to build in a completely different way while utilizing blocks in ways they would probably never do a vanilla Minecraft world even when using a regular texture pack... and the change in background music is REALLY refreshing.

EDITED 1 TIME
If I didn't have a texture world of my own as well as an obsession to have every texture/skin pack, I would found this more useful.
Nevertheless, I commend you for your effort.
Stay fluffy~
thanks. just added a 5th redstone picture that i forgot. my fav packs is city and natural

Curse Premium- its something im intrested in like a city
- i can afford it
- the pack has not already spread like wildfire
now i shall resume my BIg ProjectGood job though :).
The City pack is a texture pack. Mash-up packs also include changes to the music and a pre-built theme world, which the City pack doesn't have.
All-in-all I'm really liking this texture pack... and yes, one has to just love all the "formal" mobs... and the Mallard duck chickens.
