If we have Minecraft on the PC and we can use mods why can't we use it for the Xbox??? On Android devices they can mod Minecraft in 2 minutes but Xbox/PS3 users CAN'T. We can only download Modded maps that take up most of our time when we can do it more faster.
Mojang should set up a Program to mod and download worlds so it can be faster on USB.
For Mac and Windows
The XBox 360 and PS3 versions of Minecraft do not allow mods because of the Microsoft and Sony Terms of Service. Both companies prohibit modifications to games (and include maps in that) and as such do not allow Minecraft mods, maps, or textures. It is their decision, not that of 4J (the company actually producing the console editions of MC) or Mojang, and only Microsoft or Sony (as relevant) can make any changes or exceptions to that policy.
The bottom line is that until Microsoft or Sony change their ToS, mods (including maps) for those consoles are prohibited, and therefore also prohibited on these forums.
