When I fired up MC this morning all my settings had set to 0% so after a few minutes of putting things back to normal I realised that the MC title logo was in the top third of my screen. So I took a pic via facebook to show you, but somehow when i upload the pic the logo is not there in the image? I can't work out whats going on, but I can't get rid of the logo.

Also, i was in the village and suddenly in front of me a stream of zombies spawned, maybe around 15 or so instantly appeared. Villagers houses were full of them.



The pic below on my screen at home had the MC logo filling the sky and I couldn't get rid of it. Tried quitting and reloading but I can't remove it. Oddly it doesn't show up in this pic and I can't understand why. Is there a setting somewhere in MC to switch it off? I am totally baffled

I've never heard of the logo glitch, so I really don't know what to tell you to do.
Try backing up your worlds and redownloading the game, I suppose.

And the Zombies thing is known as a siege, which is perfectly normal.

Yeah, I had heard of that seige thing and it's the first time i've seen it, but then it's the first time i've ever really paid much attention to villages and actually expanded one before. It was just so odd when they started spawning in front of me. As for the logo, the fact that it doesn't show up on the downloaded pics baffled me. That suggests that, well i'm not actually sure what it does suggest if i'm honest! Clearly something odd happened as all my settings seemed to be messed up too, and I also got messages saying that I had unlocked various themes and avatar items which i had already unlocked. But no idea why the logo wont go away. Next time i'm on, i'll use my phone to take a pic off the screen just so people don't think i'm making it up!

Zombie sieges are actually extremely rare due to a bug in the game that prevents them from happening. The only way they can occur is for you to save/exit/reload at a specific time in MC, which is the only point the game will trigger the siege. I spent hours trying to trigger sieges, and had it occur 3x at most.

I would say just back-up your worlds and re-install minecraft. That's all I got for you bro sorry.

Oh well I tried it this morning hoping to see the logo, but it's gone! whatever was going on with my xbox seems to have resolved itself. Interesting about the siege rarity. That makes sense because I did quit and reload due to the weird logo problem and that's when they appeared. Got loads of xp for it! Just have quite a few doors to repair now. I think it's also the first time i've seen a zombie break a door down. I always play on hardcore so is that something they only do during a seige?

Good, I was starting to think I imagined it!

No zombies will break down doors if it blocks their way to whatever target they are targeting, this is why its important to protect your villagers early in the game since zombies target them first and foremost and if a player is near enough to a village to have spawns taking place the village could be wiped out pretty fast.
