I have 4 sheep in a pen. I left where they were. Came back a few MC days later. 1 sheep was gone. Only 3 in the pen. So I bred another 1 to make 4 again. Left, came back...one gone, only three. So I bred another for 4 again. So I got on top of a block stack - way up - & watched to see how they were getting out of the pen. One sheep that I had dyed red was butting one of the others...& he kept butting it till it died....he killed it!!!! So now they are all in seperate pens.....anybody else have this happen? Anybody else have a devil, murderous sheep???
Yeah, make it bigger. I think you can have a pen 20x20 blocks before they start despawning. Sometimes even then I get odd glitches where they seem determined to get out. If I see it happening I walk into the middle of the pen holding some wheat and that seems to stop them making a bid for freedom!
The pen is like 10 X 10.....other animals seem not to mind. & the other sheep don't butt ...just the red one. (Sorry I just realized I put this in the wrong catagory of topics....)
Sheep are mean!
