Lately I've been very interested in playing minecraft RPG style. But I've never done it and just am wondering... How so you play an rpg on minecraft. What's your style, what's a great experience you've had? Let me know! thanks!
I play almost all of my games like an RPG, but I've never actually gone after the Ender Dragon, because for me, that means the game is over, and I never want to stop playing.
I start by building a base and then exploring every cave mouth I find hoping to find an abandoned mine full of goodies. Seeking out better materials and building XP. Then using that XP to enchant better weapons and so forth. All the while seeking out Endermen and their pearls so I can locate the Dungeon. Once found, I explore the hell out of the dungeon, clear it of treasure, and locate the End Portal. Then amass enough pearls to activate it and I suppose go fight the dragon after that. I may finally do that with my current seed before TU14 hits.
I also make use of the villages as stop over points and I usually rebuild and help out around town.
PSN:
Junokaii (although I'd recommend not adding me because I'm on literally like... once every month or two)

Seems pretty RPG enough to me...
Unless you make up some sort of adventure where you say "turn based battle" like Final Fantasy.. Though however you could make it work is beyond me though....

That's how I RPG it.
