I totally forgot this even existed in the game. Is sponge only available in creative mode? I have
never found it on hardcore, but then, I haven't really been looking for it. Does it actually have any use/properties?
Just had a look at the wiki, and it appears that it doesn't do anything anymore and is only available in creative. Seems a shame, could be quite useful for creating stuff underwater.
I wish it had a use. :-(
What was the point in adding it anyway?
It had a use when it was first added. You could place it, then click it and it would remove all water within a certain radius of it. Meaning you could swim to the bottom of the ocean and make an air bubble with a sponge.
They just never bothered to remove it after it's purpose was taken away.

Oh, that is a bit weird how they removed the purpose of it

People are afraid of Herobrine. They think he is a monster.
I don't. I would walk up to him and give him the hug he deserves (along with creepers)
