Villagers spawn in villages to begin with and they will move around most of the time. If you would like to move them make a house (doesnt have to be a village house) and make proper rails from the village to your new house. Your next step is to get 2 villagers in the minecart and trap them in your house so they can re populate. Good luck!
If I build a village, will villagers come on their own? Build one.....leave it a while......will it become populated???
no. Like the person above me mentions it has to be a initially generated village for now. Latter we may get another way to get villagers, but for now it is only in the initial generation.
