Let me explain,

Opened up my world once for a friend to join, turned on creative to fly around.. But since then, i've played on the world and it has the achievements turned off and always says it was once saved as a creative mode game.

Again, I'm only into playing as survival. Anyway to get rid of that tag so I can earn achievements and earn stats on this world? I've honestly put in 50+ hours now into the world and, it's down to not ditching it both ways. Would be nice.

Once you save on Creative, you can't backtrack without deleting your file off the data storage on your console (given it wasn't saved to the Cloud).

Legally, no. You're stuck with it.

Unfortunately, no. It gave you fair warning at the time you made the switch, and they weren't kidding.

next time you go into creative to fly around and show off your world don save. make sure auto save is off, then you wont have to worry about it.

.... and don't save when you exit either....

You don't even have to save and it still disable achievements and leaderboard stats. It is disabled as soon as you enter the world. Next time, make a copy and go creative on the copy.

To purely answer your original question, yes you can, but it does violate the Terms of Service to do so as it would require you to MOD your saved game file... and yes there are instructions on youtube on how to accomplish this.
