Would be interesting to hear about any epic projects people have started and never finished for whatever reason. I started building the Death Star from Star Wars recently after the maximum build height was increased. Got as far as making the frame for the sphere at around 200 block diameter with the intention of building a complete interior and then adding other areas and locations from the star wars films. Then, well, I guess i'm lazy and weak and probably went and played battlefield again...
I started building an entire world from scratch. Started with a flatland map, built a huge castle and village. I had built a couple mountains and floating islands. Then I got GTA V...
I built a castle made of Nether Brick and Sand Stone surrounded by walls with some houses in the walls as well as a clock tower and water fountain with a Tera formed desert to the side but towards the end of it I lost inspiration and just started to play other games.
Once Xbox One has Minecraft I will start to play again.
Does my map series count?
I wouldn't really call them "unfinished," but rather "still in progress."
Nonetheless, the series was started in TU6 and is 4 maps strong. ._.
I started an on-land village & farm with wizards tower, a sky village, and an undersea village in pre-TU-12 survival mode... scrapped it because I didn't want to switch to creative mode for the new content that was added...
A long time ago I started gathering wood and things to make a giant Deku Tree-type build, but never got around to actually doing it. Maybe someday I'll hop back on that map to finish it.
