It is perfectly save to carry around molten rivers of lava in tiny iron buckets, and you can do so without any problems
~500 LB. (~225 KG) blocks of stone will automatically suspend in mid-air when set to touching an adjacent block (of sand, dirt, gravel, etc.).... and without glue!!!!
This same stone block will not fall to the ground when the material surrounding it is removed, it will just hang there in mid-air just because it is NEITHER sand nor gravel (the true secret to defying gravity...HA!!! Take that Physics!!!).
It is possible to carry thousands of these same stone blocks all at the same time without a backpack

You apparently can carry an entire river in 1 bucket... and an ocean in 2 (or just make multiple trips).
Hell actually isn't that bad a place to visit... some of the locals actually seem kinda nice... as long as you don't get on their bad side that is.
Signs and doors ARE effective ways to stop lava and water.
If you bring a door with you when you go deep sea diving and place it on the floor of the ocean, you DO have an unlimited air supply available to you.
As long as you have a just a tiny sliver of water a mere 3 meters above the ground, you can dive through this safely from any height WITHOUT taking any damage from falling.
You can punch a tree to get wood.
If you cut a tree down, it won't fall.
The BEST way to repopulate a forest IS to cut down every tree in sight... and collect the saplings that fall to the ground for re-planting.
You CAN get a chicken by throwing an egg at a wall.
Wooden Pick-Axes CAN mine solid stone blocks...in a pinch.
If you stick your head inside certain blocks, you can see through walls.
Trees CAN grow underground, because torchlight and sunlight share similar properties for plant growth.
Bone Marrow is better fertilizer than Miracle Grow!!! ...and will often make things grow instantly.
