So many excuses you have for them, I'm not going for the cant do thing pal. They are the ones that introduced the game they are the ones that can do it. They just choose to do what they do. You all need to stop making excuses for them and then maybe they will get it together and get things done!
It's not an excuse, it's the truth. 4J didn't 'introduce' the game, Mojang did. 4J can only do so much.
You sound like someone that doesn't understand the game was made on PC way before it came to Console. You're making it sound like it's all up to 4J. 4J is just porting a game that Mojang made, over to a console. How the game turns out, barely even has anything to do with 4J. All 4J is doing, is copying things from PC, to Console, and making sure it all runs smooth.
Like I said, if you HAVE to blame someone for the updates, it'd be Mojang. 4J is simply trying to keep the console one matching the PC one. PC updates, console updates to catch up, but at a slight delay. Anything that gets updated, or added to the console one, is mainly up to what Mojang adds to the PC version

@TXF Don't bother trying to explain this to randyphx he doesn't seem to understand what your saying and you explained it quite clearly and rather well.
He also seems to just want to disagree just to disagree after a very well done explanation like yours @TXF and all he does is say the same thing regardless of the well known facts in front of him, Then leave him to his unjustified anger can't help someone who doesn't want it.
My opinion on the matter is no i don't believe they are trying to distract us the various packs are made by different teams in 4J they have teams who design teams who program and teams who work on bugs and so on and so forth etc.
And considering how quickly updates have come out in the past i think we were lucky to get TU13 as fast as we did.
FYI @randyphx almost no game is released complete these "dlc" which you have to pay for come out after its release and you can not complete the game without them so instead of dlc MC has updates which are free.
And considering how you say you played the pc version yet want a complete game and yet the pc version isn't complete (we do not know if it ever will be) i do not know how you expect the console version to be complete and can't see the reasoning in your logic.
One of the best part's of MC is watching it grow it's an on going adventure which changes before your very eyes and the changes are free i consider it one of the best games i have ever and will ever play.
To reiterate no they are not distracting us.

I have no fear in death.I long for it. I find death for a child, always looking for enjoyment in what it kills. I have no fear in death.
Death is what I can only see, but why has it not come for me? It comes close but never comes for me.
I have no fear in death, for death fears me.

So you think I don't understand how it all works huh, we'll your wrong. I did not need to have anything explained to me at all, he decided to do it on his own. You people can stick up for a company that delivers unfinished games all you like, and yes unfinished to this day their is still horrible connection issues for servers that should have been fixed or even not to have the game released in the first place. I'm sure someone will blame it on the Xbox now, so have at it. Game devs need to stap up to the plate and get things done right the first time and not have people wait. Have a good day, I will no longer post on the forum again. Oh and not worried about forum ban or any ban, those are for people that don't know ways around them.

Add me if you like I play mostly COD, but I do play alot of Minecraft also.
@randy, I never said you actually bought the console version first. I said you SOUNDED like someone that did. Which is still true. You don't seem to get, that releasing an unfinished game has NOTHING to do with 4J. The PC version is unfinished so OF COURSE the console one is going to be. Even if another company made the console version other than 4J, it'd still be unfinished, because the PC version is. They can't 'complete' a game, that's a simple copy/paste, of a game that's unfinished. Especially if they're trying to keep it updated with the PC version. PC version updates, so the Console version updates. It's entirely Mojang and the PC version's fault, not 4J. 4J has little to no decision in the actual game-content.
I just don't get what's so hard to understand about the fact, that 4J is simply copying the game over. 4J has barely any say in what actually goes into the game. What goes into the game is entirely based on Mojang and the PC version. If something gets added to the PC version's world gen, eventually, it'll get added to the console version, and so on. Being an unfinished game, is because the PC version is unfinished, and they're trying to keep it the same as PC.
I doubt very much that they are trying to distract us, I think that they are just to busy trying to get Minecraft up and running with the release of Xbox One and PS4 to care about the 360 update.

You can't get mad at 4J for not having an update out when you want it. They have enough on their plate already and I'm sure everyone would appreciate it if you stopped complaining.

I don't blame them.

People need to get it through their gorram thick heads. MCXBLA360 is the redheaded stepchild now. The P3 version will be in the exact same boat the day it is released (i.e. it will be obsolete on the day it is released). The console industry has moved on to the next-next gen hardware and game developers will have to move on as well or become dinosauers.
Bottom-line.
Will 4J continue to update the 360 and Ps3 verisons? Yes, they have said they will, so we have no reaason not to believe them. Will updates to the 360 and Ps3 versions come slower and be less of a focus for 4J? Yes, they are a company who has to make money so they will focus on the next-gen platform versions. Will 4J eventually quit updating the 360 and Ps3 versions in favor of the next-gen platform versions? Again, Yes, the 360 and Ps3 versions are within 2 years of the end of their lifecycle. I fully expect to get 1, maybe 2, more content updates on the 360 version and that will be it. I predict we will see the last content update for the 360 version next Fall.
This is the way it is people, no amount of self-absorped ranting is going to change the business logic. If you don't like it, adopt a next-gen console and wait for the next-gen versions to come out. Personally, I find MCXBLA360 to be perfectly fine and could live with it just as it is right now until they close the 360 servers. There are no major bugs (and, no, I do not count the "map-frame, End crash" a major bug - just don't go to the End, derp), frame rate is fine unless you are building massive redstone contraptions and even that issue has been largely figured out by building with glowstone. The addition of texture packs has been an excellent expansion to the game that has allowed some interesting opportunities (even if I don't like all of the packs).
I admit, i would love to get the advanced redstone logic stuff (hoppers, droppers, comparators, switched repeaters, etc.) But, in all honesty that's just wish-listing at best. (I'm hoping those items might be in our last update.)

Just a note here: The 360 and PS3 are still more than 2 years from the end of their lifecycle. Microsoft, at least, announced that there are still hundreds of games coming to the 360, and EA has announced that they'll support current gen until 2017.
As for OP: 4J can't do everything at once. They're busy with another version(s) right now. I'm just glad that they're working on something to keep interest alive.

Not easy trying to please the world. As stated above they have a lot on their plate. Go play GTA or something and keep yourself busy. That's a game that'll keep you distracted.
So you think I don't understand how it all works huh, we'll your wrong. I did not need to have anything explained to me at all, he decided to do it on his own.
Yeah... actually I do think that you are completely clueless about how it all works... but if, as you say, you truly understand how it all works and are capable of doing better, then by all means, do so. Put up or shut up.
You people can stick up for a company that delivers unfinished games all you like, and yes unfinished to this day their is still horrible connection issues for servers that should have been fixed or even not to have the game released in the first place.
Having known a few game developers, no game is ever truly done... there comes a time when a line has to be drawn and the game has to meet production, otherwise, it would never see the light of day, it would always be in the development phase. one of the beautiful things about MC is that it is an evolving game, technically it was done long before enchantment tables or brewing stands or villages/villagers, the Nether, and the End were added. Nothing that is added at this point is "required" for a playable game, other than to try and meet public expectations and demands.
I wasn't aware of any XBLA MC Servers... I thought the games were hosted on individual player consoles as servers... this being the case, there are a number of issues with a game that doesn't have a central high bandwidth hub for data transfers, and requires a customer providing their own bandwidth for other players to access.
I'm sure someone will blame it on the Xbox now, so have at it. Game devs need to step up to the plate and get things done right the first time and not have people wait. Game Developers HAVE stepped up to the plate, that's why I can at least play MC now on the xBox 360 and not have to wait another 2-3 years while it remains in development. Get things right the first time? Clearly you have NO computer programming experience at all.
Since you aren't coming back... I guess my rebuttal is pointless and falls on deaf ears. But perhaps others will read and make the choice to think before they post something that is inherently erroneous and makes them sound like a troll.

The 360 and PS3 are now old-gen, outdated consoles.
The XB1 and PS4 are now the current consoles.
Very Very unlikely.
