I think 4J studio trying to distract us from Title Updates?Because they're Releasing Mash ups and Texture and i know(Think) those are easier to program.I like Packs(Mash up,Skin etc.) But i wanna know whats going on With TU14
Distract us? I think this is a bit harsh.. I really don't think that's the intention. It doesn't make much sense.
Now, perhaps... Just perhaps, 4J is offering DLC as a way to bring extra content and keep interest alive while they work on other platforms and hopefully prepare for TU14. In that case be thankful. Personally I'm hoping for more texture packs, and for Anvils to be brought forward when TU14 does come. 4J has done a good job with this port and I'm sure porting Minecraft to three more platforms isn't easy. So it's likely that their plate is kinda full rather than any attempt at distacting us.
I wouldn't say they are trying to distract us. I think they have a lot on their plate right now. Aren't they working on a PS3, PS4 and and Xbox One version right now? On top of that they are working on Mash-up packs and Texture packs plus TU 14 for Xbox 360. Good things will come to us, it just might take some time, they are doing a great job so far so why doubt them.
As stated by 4J Studios before, skin packs are worked on by a separate group of people from ones who are programming the game: https://twitter.com/...133711907803136
I would assume it is the same for the texture packs as well.
You're really just going to have to learn to live with the fact that now that the game is being made for the PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, and PS4, that the updates a going to slow down just a little bit.
No. If they were trying to distract us, why would they remind us that its still a ways away on their most recent tweet. Usually, when you try to distract someone from something, you take their attention away from it.
On top of what's been said, the 'next gen' versions are going to be different apparently. At least somewhat.. bigger worlds and whatnot. So it's not just a direct port for updates like ps3/360. They'll have to do more work to move updates to the xbox one and ps4, so there's even more work, slowing it down even more.

Maybe not distract us but they just have too many things going on, but that's no excuse to have a game not complete. Just think when the Xbox One edition comes out it will be another incomplete game waiting for updates for years, people will be lucky to see TU14 on it. I only play Minecraft about once every month now for around 20 minutes, I'm don't waiting for 4j to get a finished game. Other game come out complete but not minecraft they want you to wait for new updates that should be in the game already. They need to focus on one edition and get it to a final version before working on another edition, but I'm sure it has to do with money in the end. They figure they can get more sales if they put out more copy's of the same incomplete game to different consoles, and just make people wait for updates.

How can anyone expect 4J to be able to port a "completed" game when the PC "original" is still not really complete even yet and still undergoing frequent updates?

I expect them to! I am the customer, if they focus on one game first then the others will fall in place. If I had known first that completing minecraft for Xbox would have took Soo long I would not have bought it. They are the game devs. They know what needs to be done, others know how to get a game complete in less time so why not them?

Add me if you like I play mostly COD, but I do play alot of Minecraft also.

It IS now complete to 1.2.4 (which was the PC version in existence when the Xbox Edition was released and the version anyone would have been comparing it to at that time). By that reasoning, no further updating is required.
Tell me how you or anyone else would have any idea what version the PC will be at a year from now?

Are you getting paid for backing them? They need to get the game right that's it! Excuse time is over. As a game company they are lacking, maybe in a few more years they can get it together but for now that are just not cutting it in my eyes. All this don't matter anyways if I see a game with their name on it I will just not buy just like I would do to any other company. Have a good day.

No, I am not paid for backing them. I consider myself to be a customer with REASONABLE expectations rather than one who expects a company porting a game created by another company to somehow look into a crystal ball and know when, if and how that company will consider it's game "complete" because the customer demands it. If 4J had released a complete game in May of 2012, that game would have been equivalent to PC version 1.2.4 (at the most) and there would have been no updates issued after that point.
However, the Minecraft experience is not about the game being "complete." Mojang have intentionally made it into an ongoing experience of change. The Xbox Edition changes as well... It just started out on the journey a year or so later than the PC did.
They haven't started on TU14 and won't until PS3 minecraft release, for obvious reasons. (They want the consoles to run the same)

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.

They can't 'complete' a game, that's just a port, of an incomplete game. The PC version is getting constant updates. The console version is constantly trying to catch up. The only way they can complete the game, is if they just stop updating it, or add their own things and call it finished.
They're trying to keep it the same as PC, which means until the PC version is 'complete', the Console version isn't gonna be complete. That's not 4J's fault. They're just porting what's there.
On top of that, you should have known full well what you were getting in to if you were buying Minecraft on a console. Either you should have known how Minecraft works with it's updates, being someone that already plays Minecraft. Or you should have looked it up online before buying it, if you were new to Minecraft.
It's no one's fault that you didn't do enough research to know the game wasn't 'complete'.
Considering the game was only $20, and it's still a ton of fun. Just as good as the Vanilla PC version(minus very recent updates, and free skins/textures). It's not exactly a big deal in the first place.
But then people like you come along, who somehow expect 4J to do something they physically CAN'T do. The game is literally just a port of the PC Minecraft, and PC MC gets updated constantly. IF you, for some reason, NEED someone to blame. Blame Mojang for updating the PC version. Not that updating a game is a problem, but for you, it seems it is.
4J did, and is doing, a good job porting over PC Minecraft to a console. It's honestly a lot better than I originally expected it to be.
Think about it this way. Minecraft updates are just free mandatory DLC. Updates that add new features and bug fixes.

So many excuses you have for them, I'm not going for the cant do thing pal. They are the ones that introduced the game they are the ones that can do it. They just choose to do what they do. You all need to stop making excuses for them and then maybe they will get it together and get things done!

It's not the end of the world and you'll survive.
MU Packs, TP's, and SP's are just an added bonus.
