So I finally decided to work towards the end, beat th ender dragon and feel like a true minecraft junkie. When i get there i face issue after issue, the ender dragon can pass through the end rock?? I did pretty well one time until an enderman caught me off gaurd, restarted now every time i set tnt off on the end crystals while the ender dragon is connected to it the game freezes. I'm going to beat that dragon one way or another but what about this glitch? what do i do??
Ps im using the mass effect mash up pack.(death to grammar)
I'd say just shoot the crystals instead of blowing them up.
I've never used TNT on them, so I don't known.
You should report this to the bug thread either, though.
You really don't need to use tnt.(I'm not sure why you think this is necessary) Just use arrows and shoot them from far away. For the covered ones, have a stack of blocks and pillar jump up and just use a pick to break the iron bars. It's actually an easy fight. The ender men can be a pain, and are more of an issue than the dragon. With the exception of the game freezing, you really shouldn't have too much trouble with this fight.
Apparently you can use snowballs too, though I used arrows. I climbed to the top of one of the fenced in crystals which seemed to be higher than all the others though not sure if it actually was. From there I had a pretty good view of all the crystals making it pretty easy to shoot them all from one point. The dragon also appeared unable to attack me on top of this particular column. Whether or not that was a fluke I don't know. Then I stood under the stone in the middle and was again apparently safe from the dragon there and just gave him a bit of a poke every time he landed. The bit that confused me was the egg. Is it normal that it teleports to a nearby spot when you hit it? I did this a few times and then decided to see if dynamite does anything interesting to it. It made a big crater and I can't find the egg anymore so it either blew it off the island or destroyed it! Not sure which

Yes it is supposed to teleport when you click it. Dynamite shouldn't have effected it but I'm not really sure. You need to keep in mind that when it teleports it could have selected a block of air as its landing zone, upto 7 blocks up/down, and 15 blocks n/s/e/w. If it selected a block of air it will fall as it is effected by gravity like sand/gravel, ect. If it fell onto a torch it could have been changed into its entity state which you may not have seen and then despawned, or worse yet it could have fell into the void. Its entirely possible that the TNT did in fact change it into its entity state as well, I've never tried it.
You can use a piston to change it into its entity state as well, this is how a player is meant to move the egg. The egg itself currently serves no purpose other then a trophy. Some people have devised some clever uses for it however such as panda from the zipcrowd, who made an oracle out of it, he simply writes a yes/no question into a book and places it into a chest then hits the egg, it then will teleport to a yes or no block, after a slight delay a BUD is triggered and the egg is forced back to where it starts, however I believe you need tripwire for this to work can't quite remember, and this is getting off topic.
My team has spent months blowing up the end island, we finished about a month ago, and built up a pretty unique enderman farm but sadly I can't go there as if I (the host) visit the end for anymore then 20 mins or so the console will freeze, oddly it only effects me, and I've tried everything I can think of to fix it. The farm is way faster for experience then any other farm we have including a well optimized blaze farm, nearly 2x faster in fact. Really hope this is fixed in the next TU.
Ah, interesting, thank you. Just downloaded the Skyrim pack this morning too and thought how cool it would be if ender dragons were roaming around in the Skyrim map. Aargh

Formally known as laziness.

Stay fluffy~
