I'm surprised I couldn't find a post on this, both inside this forum and out, but this is a bug that's been around for a long time (since the 1.8 beta update I believe), and hasn't been fixed. It's a nuisance, and can actually ruin gameplay.
When opening the crafting menu, the game freezes for just a second. It's more noticeable when using a crafting table instead of the character's crafting menu. While this seems like an annoyance, there have been several occasions when split-screening where I'd be in the midst of a battle, and player 2 opens the crafting table, causing the 1-second freeze, and leaving me dead.
As I said before, this issue's been around for a long time, and I'd really like to see this fixed above all else.
Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
