Now that we have a variety of texture packs I wanted to see what people think. I have tried all of them but only have one that I like. The Natural texture Pack makes the minecraft better to me. The Mass Effect and Halloween Packs I don't like at all and the Plastic texture pack I just don't care for. But the Natural texture Pack makes the pictures more detailed, I like the new mob looks like the skeletons, and I like the new variations on some of the blocks.

As for future texture packs, it doesn't matter much to me. There are other things that the Minecraft needs more than texture packs.

not really much of a variety. I am actually waiting for this medieval one that is going to come or one that I actually will use.. So I can't answer that poll due to that.

At least you found one that you enjoy, I haven't quite yet.:(

They are all great packs with their own advantages and flaws... Just not what I am looking for currently.

The medieval one sounds interesting, especially given the tech level in the Minecraft, but wish they would work on some other stuff.

To me, just switching out the textures doesn't do a whole lot. I like the Mash-Up concept where much more changes than just the textures and really hope that they are planning to come out with more of them either as individual packs or as an optional bundle/extensions to available texture packs (e.g. I would LOVE to see a Halloween Mash-Up pack for next Halloween, even if is just combined the Skin Pack and the Texture Pack and added in some creepy Addams Family Halloween music (to go with the paintings - which are great). I am still thinking about possibly buying the full Natural TP since I do like it; but am waiting to see what the Medieval one that has been hinted at looks like first and/or what the next Mash-Up pack is like. (This is more because I don't have a Live membership myself and the purchases have to be made through my son's Live account, so I'm waiting until I potentially have more than one item I want to buy.)

I'm kind of the same way as UpUp. Changing the textures isn't really a huge thing for me. I do like playing around with a texture pack, thus the reason I got the trial for all of them, but never bought any. A medieval texture pack might change that for me, though...

I have been using the Halloween one; I really like the mobs' reskins and the color of the sky.

I can't vote in this poll.
Q1 should have a "Don't have a Texture Pack" option.
Q2 should have a "None" option.

I am a holiday freak so the Halloween pack came out the day after I started decorating my world with Jack-O-Lanterns and I was elated! Love the Halloween pack, but I do switch back to the natural pack, if I am building something. I too am looking forward to a medieval pack. I hope a Christmas pack comes out also. I'm kinda sad I missed out on the Halloween skin pack from last year (I wasn't introduced to the joys of Minecraft until January of this year).Mass Effect was a disappointment to me, even though I bought it. I might find a use for it later.

Well I think I will be using the natural texture pack for a while, it adds a really great feel to the game. (IMO)

I love both the Halloween and Natural texture packs. I'll be using the HW one until the end of October, and then switch to Natural.

They really do enhance the experience for me, because it's like looking at a whole new world in a way, lol.

I really enjoy the nature texture pack myself. I'm gonna use the halloween one for a certian map or two, but i believe i'm gonna keep the Nature one on most of my worlds.

I just hope maybe after they release a few more, maybe they'll add the option to mix and match em (i.e. take the cobblestone, the obsidian, and the animal textures from nature, mix in the redstone things from plastic, maybe the tools and weapons from halloween, with some default blocks also) kinda like how they have the "favorite Skin" list.

I just downloaded the Halloween pack and I love it. I downloaded the trials for the other ones but haven't tried them out yet.

I love love love the Natural and Halloween packs. I would have even paid for the Halloween one. That being said however, I have been playing on Natural ever since it came out and don't see myself switching any time soon. I do plan on starting a new save at some point in creative just to build a haunted map with the Halloween pack, but still can't see myself doing my regular survival play on it.

The Mass Effect texture pack makes me sick. I can't distinguish anything with it on. The only one that I find decent is the Natural. The Halloween is cool for now.

I thoroughly enjoy playing with the Nature texture pack and it does change the feel of the game for me.

I use all of them except for the Mass Effect pack. I find the plastic pack easy to build with and if I can make it look good in that pack then it looks great in the others. The natural pack I like for everything except mining. The stone texture makes it awkward to spot anything. I much prefer the Halloween pack for mining now and it makes the nether so much better.

I couldn't complete the votes neither. But moving on to you question, I have purchased all textures and the mash up packs and I was excited and loved the Plastic TP up until the Natural TP was release. I'm really liking the Natural a lot better, but I still play the Plastic TP every so often.

Like mentioned before, I wanna see the mid evil TP, and I wanna see what 4J has in store for us for mash up packs.

I like them all except for the mass effect texture pack. That being said, i always use the Natural pack when playing. i wish i could use the natural pack and switch to the halloween pack when i enter the nether.

On what basis do you know that a Medieval texture pack is coming out? Is this something 4J has hinted at or announced?

I like the Natural Pack the best right now. Stuff looks better and I get less comment from the peanut gallery that it all looks lo-res when I play.
