So I got the Natural Texture Pack when it mysteriously leaked onto Xbox Live. I decided to see if what I thought was true, and it was. The texture pack is a higher resolution than the default 16 x 16 pixels. It's 32 x 32 pixels, which means more detail. I'm actually surprised the 360 is running it without any noticable lag whatsoever.
That is a grass block from the texture pack. Count the pixels squares for yourself. It's 32 pixels. Yay for higher resolutions!
I've noticed this, I love it too, credit card wasn't working at the time it was "released" so I did a simple trial version! but it looks absolutely amazing!

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
My game never lags in single player (except during the crazy breeding villagers incidents) but almost always lags in multiplayer. I wonder how this will work in multiplayer, if it is possible to even use it? I was not quick enough to get it when I heard it had been accidentally released so will need to wait until it's out properly.
Edit: By multiplayer, I mean split screen multiplayer. I have no lag when playing online multiplayer.
