I'm making iron golem farms in my creative world. When I was done the 4th one I couldn't spawn anymore villagers. Now I know I've seen videos of people making tons of these golem farms on Xbox but I can't seem to spawn anymore.
Any help?
Villager breeding was seriously curtailed with TU13 because when it was introduced in TU12 people were having issues with so many villagers breeding that their games were lagging to a halt. There are indications that the new limit is 50 villagers, which is not enough to complete a 4-village iron golem spawner (which requires a minimum of 64 villagers). The ones you've seen on the Xbox were probably built before TU13.
I agree with others that the limit, if it is indeed 50, is now far too low. Hopefully, they will increase it again in TU14.

No. That's all you are supposed to have. I have a couple hundred in one village and they keep breeding. I killed off all but 40 or fifty and now there are a couple hundred again.
I can't say anymore about it, because the mods will lock this thread down tighter something that is really tight. Maybe a drum or something.
They really hate it when people discuss all the problems that this game has.
hey i forgot they could breed maby thats how i can get villagers to my new village. only problem is how do i get villagers all the way over there. if i put enough doors will they spawn there like in the pc?

They've stopped breeding. I'm trying a bunch of ways. Still no luck. I have 57 villagers all together. I'm searching everywhere online and found nothing. If anyone knows or has any ideas plz let me know.

There is absolutely nothing you can do to get any more villagers. Since TU13, the game limits you to approximately 50 villagers (I'm guessing you can have more if perhaps multiple villagers are breeding at the exact same time - but this is a guess). It is now a limit of the game - no getting around it.

Hey, someone explained to me how to get more villagers. So they are breeding good now. I have over 60 and I'm not stopping till I have enough.
I already had a box with two villagers and all I did was go above it and put a 2x3 with 6 doors on it and they're breeding. Hope this helps anyone needing villagers.

one problem though, the closest villagers are at the bottom left of the map. and i need them to be a little higher than the middle of the map. any suggestions?

It would be nicer if 4J would increase the limit to 128 villagers (enough for 2 DocM style iron golem farms per world).
