I cant even play minecraft no more because i dont know what to build
everytime i play its the same
1)Get Wood
2)Make Wood Pic
3)Get Stone
4)Make Stone Tools
5)Get More Wood
6)Make Temporary Home
7)Find a Cave
8)Get Iron
9)Dont Resurface Until Diamonds Found
10)Find Diamonds
11)Profit
12)Nothing to do
What can i do im so bored when i play because i dont know what to build
Can i get suggestions on what to do?
If not, you could make a record farm out of a skeleton spawner.
I have been playing xbox360 minecraft since it came out, which means I've made at least 4 worlds that I've put time into, so I also get "creator's block" -haha.
Sheep farms...for different wool colors..
I use one color ONLY for wiring, one ONLY for water, etc..
Build a copy of your house. You may need to upscale it, 1 block=1 foot to get enough detail. Don't forget the inside.
Build a copy of Disney's Cinderella Castle.
Build a Old West main street.
Or 'de-build' something:
Dig you're own ravine.
Dig a strip mine (like 30X30) to bedrock (You'd be surprised at the resources and caves you'll find!)

Well, if you're absolutely determined just to be lazy then there's nothing anyone can suggest to help you out that you won't find a way to reject; and perhaps it's your laziness you should be cursing.
I suggest building your sheep farm two block high with fence on top of 2nd block, then create a small piston system that will elevate you up those two blocks, so you don't have to worry about them getting out...or a ladder lol
I struggle with that every day, I get up and before I start school, (I'm homeschooled! Nah, nah ,nah!) I get a good 30-45 mins in. > Just another half hour to fill my time, and I can't seem to find something fun to do in survival... I'm not very creative at all. Anything I build is:
A. I'm extremely lucky to have the creativity for this idea
B. I saw somebody else do it
C. I'm a fan of ________ at this time, say Halo. I'll build the Forward Unto Dawn. (It's taking forever!) I'll build a pelican. etc. I've been currently working on a B-29 Superfortress bomber. Google it. It's an amazing plane. Take stuff from video games, movies, Lego sets, even? Build a statue of somebody/thing, pixel art too? I have a statue of Alpha steve(bearded) in full iron armor.

Build a huge wall around an area you would like to build in, I find as soon as I build a wall i always find more inspiration to fill it with something.

I've played a fair few worlds, and I can honestly say, i'm better for it. The more worlds you play, then the more situations/problems you'll run into. You can then work on solutions to those problems.
Such as, covering every build in the nether with cobblestone. Or building underground so that you gain materials rather than using them, also provides a level of protection from creepers.
So if you're feeling stuck, start a new world, and NEVER cookie-cut a build. Always start anew.

2) Take a look through your drawers and take notice of all the different small items you have... Try to copy some of them in larger scale.
3) Take a look through history books and architectural magazines... Try to copy some famous structures.
4) Go to an amusement/theme park and note the different attractions and rides and games... Try to copy some of them.
5) Watch some movies and notice the details in the various sets... Try to reproduce some of them.

Learning architecture can be fun too; but to each his own. If you spend all your life just playing a video game and refusing to "Bleep you brain up" at all at any time, all you'll have in the end are just a bunch of useless pixels to show for it. (PS: The OP asked for suggestions, so I game him some. I really don't care a lick whether he or you or anyone else uses them or not.)

2. Dig down
3. Dig 10 forward, replace with TNT
4. Create a beach, a mine, a Nether, etc
5. Create a big castle
Now invite people to your world and you'll see how fun it is to have people fool around on the world
