I'm curious as to if 'zombie pigmen' are supposed to be able to spawn on stairs. I've never had them spawn in the pc version on this block, but after hours of testing in attempts to find where the pigman were coming from in my neither base... I finally figured out they were spawning on stairs!
Its my understanding that mobs are NOT supposed to be able to spawn on stairs. I'm curious to 1) if anyone else has this issue, 2) Is it supposed to be a xb360 feature, 3) known bug.
Moderators, please don't lock this, I will report the bug if others can concur. I try to avoid the bug reporting thread because its so poorly managed, and contains pretty much the same reported issues repeated some 5 billion times.
I haven't had or seen them spawn on glass or glowstone as of yet and I'm defiantly not ruling it out, but I now have seen at least 5 pigmen spawn on stairs at different time intervals.
In respects to have the zombie pigmen grinder, most of us have them, its a great way to get gold, but they will spawn on your stairs eventually, once the block is selected it can and will happen, most likely right now its picking locations in the grinder as there is much more air blocks and spawnable locations, try limiting the area so that they can't spawn there temporarily and then you will see that given time they will spawn on your stairs.
