Not sure what you mean by the slide motion thing... but it does stay at the same y while you fly around, unlike what the xbox does. The only way to change y, is doing that manually, far as I can tell. It does take a bit to get use to, but not too much different.
I do play both versions, although tend to be on the xbox one more at the moment...
About the only time I am in creative, at least in the pc version is usually scouting a world out. Well the spawn area anyway. So I guess I really didn't notice much a difference. Maybe it is just that I am use to both the pc and consoles over the years. I adapt easily in this case, i guess.:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

. . .
Oh, so the Superman thing is ours alone? I do like it quite a bit. I would miss it on the PC.
In my opinion fly mode on the Xbox is a little annoying, the fact that you have to tilt up a little when flying fast otherwise you dip right down does my head in, I prefer the PC fly mode.
I've jumped back and forth between MC Xbox and MC PC, I prefer the PC version when it comes to content i.e mods and a more up-to-date feel seeing as it's updated more frequently than the Xbox version, but, it's the Xbox's simplicity that keeps bringing me back, i.e the simplified crafting process, not having to remember or alt-tab between the wiki to get a crafting recipe
Each to there own I suppose
Yeah I think each has their ups and downs, but I know almost every crafting recipe and I only play on Xbox >:DDang emoticons! >: D

Although my MCForum is SoarvivalistGizor, I usually go by SlabGizor117 or Slab. I made this account back when I was a fan more of Paulsoaresjr, rather then Etho.
I own both. Only thing missing from Xbox version is servers. Dedicated. Even rental ones. And beacons, I like beacons.
I will agree with Diamond_Braderz , the simplicity and the ease of use brings me back to 360 version.
Servers would be great addition and really kick MC XBLA up another level, but I seriously doubt its going to happen.
In respects to things missing over xbox, your kidding right only beacons? There a crapload of things that the PC has over us, but all in good time, like hoppers, redstone blocks, comparators, droppers, sideways logs, a much improved placement for upside down stairs slabs, the ability to transport entites through the neither and back, the wither, and much more.
I'm REALLY hopping that we get some way to 'store' entities like in the neither providing no one is there like on the pc version, but i doubt that will happen, guess we will have to wait for hoppers, hopefully it won't be too long.
I own both, and some-days I play the PC, other days I like the xbox, but mainly for comfort and ease, especially when it comes to having friends drop in and out.
I know what he means in respects to moving slightly after releasing a movement key or joystick, and you do get used to it after awhile. However I believe there is a way to config it to not do this, or at the very least a simple mod which will allow you to customize the speed, and all parms in respects to flying.
I have both but I'm too much of a console girl. I hate the forced key/mouse controls in PC version and the programs to emulate it just feel clunky. So my copy of PCMC has been relegated to testing out features and such ahead of updates, as best I can, and reporting to my friends on Live.
If they had the PC game too, and the PC one had real controller options that made it play like the XBLA Minecraft, I'd switch in a heartbeat.
so i decided to try out the PC version.
and for those who are not aware when in fly mode when trying to stop you slide for a bit like your on ice.
me being used to stopping on the dime like on 360 its insanely hard to get used to. ive pretty much given up.
so my question is has any of you played both versions? and if so do you have any tips on how to get used to the sliding motion?
i even made it so i can use a PS3 contoller for PC to play and still cant do it.
i would just go back to 360 version but i dont have an xbox anymore( poor choice on my part)
but any advice would help. Thanks
