Thank you 4J and whoever else played a part in bringing this awesome texture pack to the 360 edition of minecraft..I LOVE IT..it has given me a whole new meaning to love a game that has brought so much joy into my life. Everything feels so fresh and exciting again..thank you sooo much..i really do enjoy all the new textures and features. I have never been able to fully enjoy texture packs until now thanks to you..the mass effect textures are wonderful. Thank you for doing such a great job. I will now say goodbye and go back to playing such a wonderful game that has constantly surprised me with awesome new features. You will always have my support for years to come, if not for the rest of my life. So thank you for being so AWESOME.
Although I am not a fan of the pack, I'm just glad to see a thread praising it instead of bashing it. Some positivity can go a long way, good to see your faith in the right hands OP.

i am a constructrution worker and I do not work for any video game company... i always heard about texture packs from pc players and i was very excited to get my hands on one... but i was never able to play around with one of them myself until now. The few dollars I spent will not be missed. I am a very satisfied with the textures. Maybe because it is such a new experience for me..I was actually in the middle of playing through the mass effect trilogy..another new favorite game of mine...when i found the mass effect mash up for minecraft in the marketplace to my surprise. I hope other 360 players are out there enjoying minecraft for the first time and like me...their very first texture pack as well. I am not one for bashing such a hardworking team..imo.. as i am sure that is what they are... and I am sure 4j studios is listening to what their fans want. and surely they are doing everything they can to resolve them.
i feel so alone...this is just a thank you...not a promo. Apparently I cant say thanks without people thinking i am getting payed for it. that would be awesome. i will celebrate everything minecraft. and if i am able to support such an amazing game that allows for creation instead of mass desruction like most games these days..I will.
Don't feel alone OP. I fell exactly as you do. I LOVE this packc and it has made me feel the excitement of re-learning the game (the same sort of excitement I had when I first learned the game).
Don't worry about the nay-sayers. Most of them have just opened the trial and did a quick fly through, found that the blocks had changed a lot, and decided to sour grapes the whole thing... and many of the same individuals regularly post anti-4J sentiments and regularly try calling anyone who likes what 4J does an employee troll (and worse). They just can't ever be satisfied with any 4J does with this game because all they want it to have FREE mods and packs made by the community... to them, everything just has to be just like the PC, period. They are so tunnel visioned about the whole affair, they are truly missing out on enjoying a great original version of Minecraft.
I'm not too involved with most xbox games I play, so I may be wrong, but it seems that 4J is pushing Microsoft to move the boundaries and keep their customers happy.
I agree, the support is awesome. people who complain about having to pay, it not being like the PC, etc etc, should go get it on PC. I learned to prefer console gaming for a couple reasons. 1 is the hardware. It's all the same. For everyone. 2 the limitations are set, published, and game makers know them.
The fact that we can have the textures now is cool. I hope 4j and Microsoft come up with a model that allows them to use some of the ready made ones out for the PC. I think if it's open source style then they may not be able to charge. If they could give them away, but charge to be able to use them (ie: you pay to have access to the button on the xbox), that may work. The best thing is, when they do come out, whatever they are, I know they will not break the game for me, and the small fee that is charged (a cup of coffee and a donut at most), will allow me to install it with a couple button clicks, and have it work.
Just want to add... I don't like the mash up pack. I did buy it though, and I'm not complaining. It is very cool concept. who knows, I may learn to like it some day, and I can muck around some time with it.

thats like hearing people say "i really hate the town that i live in." but they never move out of it. I am not including those who cannot afford to.
Please with Mass effect Texture pack?
No. Not to much. I Don't play mass effect.
I'll wait for the next one
soo what your saying is you have to play mass effect to enjoy some new textures in a totally different game? and what if the next texture pack is a game you dont play..are going to not like those textures either? maybe they will never have a texture pack that involves a game you like to play..i am not trying to be rude sorry if it came out that way..

its cool if you dont like it..people will always have things they like and dislike, agree and disagree with..i just wanted to say thanks to 4j..for the texture pack. I have no idea how things are made in video games but i am sure it takes alot of work and brain mashing. and i agree with most of what you said.. i also have hopes that more community made textures and mods become available to us in some way.. some how.. on the xbox. and i am looking forward to more of these features. i just know that new textures can allow more creativity in a game that offers so much creativity already. and i will love everyone of them no matter the style its in..
Well in OP. I like others wasn't too impressed with the Mass Effect theme but that's purely down to personal taste. Certainly don't think it deserved the reign of hate it received.
Good to see someone not only getting plenty out of it but happy to voice it
i really did not realize that many people hated it...i just love building things..and the new textures have inspired me to build more. and experiment more.
For survival purposes, it's dumb and difficult.
For map-makers such as myself, this is a major expansion with the way we can create things.
This transformed my first map into just what I wanted it--A semi-Portal 2-like co-op map that actually looks the way it was foreseen.
That, and I enjoy seeing pixel art made in default...my Mumbo head turned into a Mumbo skull--pretty sweet, actually.
i feel this way now after doing some reading on this forum...i hope i did not offend anybody when i posted this last night..i was just excited to finally have a texture pack in my hands to fiddle with..i have yet to play it in survival mode though so i havent got a real opinion on it...and i understand there are many hardcore survivalists here on this forum that say this pack is not for them....i understand that..
I've already heard some people say that they regret paying the 2-3 dollars to get this mash-up pack, but really that's their own fault, because I'm not sure if anyone has realized yet, but all but the skins are free O.O I just got the trial, and I get everything, and maybe a couple skins, out of it. And its actually pretty cool, I checked out a couple of my worlds with it, and was amazed by how different they looked. I may go ahead and pay for the entire thing just to support 4J and hope they come out with much more of these.

I had a feeling that was going to happen
