Zombies and zombies pigmen can only drop helmets? or any kind of armor?

Some time I got iron boots... that was rare because I always get helmets

The wiki says "random armour," but in the loot chest of a zombie spawner in a server in which I play we have 27 helmets and naught else.

If you're talking about rare mob drops then;
I have recieved iron ingots, iron swords, and iron shovles from zombies (or skeleteons, maybe both.)

iron helmet vast majority of the time. but also iron shovel.

about 30 bows from skellys though.

At this point in time, Zombies drop Iron Helmets, Iron shovels, Iron Swords, and Iron Ingots. Zombie Pigmen drop Gold Swords and Gold Ingots.

The drops are equivalent to what they were when first added on the PC. They will change.

Try your luck using a Looting enchant

this hopefully is part of the next feature update we get on xbox
its not so much the rare drops I like, I just like seeing skellys and zombies wearing armour

This would be kinda cool.

I've seen a golden sword and about two or three helmets. I was lucky enough to get a Power I bow from a skeleton early game once. I liked that.. It was early enough to be useful.

Weird, i haven't received any armor at all and i'm quite high on the leaderboard.

I have been recently playing around in Creative mode and I have found out that zombie pigmen drop golden enchanted swords. (random low level enchantments)

Yeah, yesterday I got a Looting I Sharpness II golden sword

got my first golden helmet hunting Z pigmen. Now I want to get some good enchantments on it to go kill the dragon with. I love gold weapons/armor but hate to waste my power rails on it. So with the rail nerf plus Z pigmen gold drops I may actually make a full suit for the ender dragon battle. Suit UP it's Dragon killin time!

They always drop golden swords for me lol
