Seems more like a creative pack than something I can actually put to use in survival. I'm a creative player but I built my city's with the blocks in mind. (Wood goes where wood goes, stone where stone) I could not imagine what it would look like if I loaded this in it. I'm just gonna wait for a more contemporary pack comes out. I in no means hate it, I love the fact that the Xbox is running a TP. It makes me excited.
Honestly expected it to be Halo, but wanted it to be Banjo. Either way, I still like Mass Effect. I'll test it out for free to see if I like it, and if it goes with my worlds.
It was good trailer n all... Good that we are getting a futuristic one...
It is a shame about doku though, however I mainly just wanted something like it, as in that style which is like any old RPG game. maybe they should contact SquareEnix....
Anyway, even though they did a great job on this specific pack, it is just not for me, as I personally don't built in the future, I build things in the past... Or well in that era... No matter, I guess I don't have to worry bout this release and just wait for the next one...:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I think it's a great effort and really cool looking however I too want a Doku or John Smith type pack badly and have a tinge of disappointment about this. That said ill still check it out on my "futuristic" world. I may be replacing a lot of iron blocks there!
That looks pretty cool. But it made me wonder. Is Minecraft following Lego’s footsteps? From general building blocks and imagination, to canned models and specific themes that take no imagination? Not quite, since it’s really only a reskinning, and we’re not restricted to the special included world. It just struck me as funny that, just like Lego, the Minecraft folks thought they needed to inject sendups of other products into it. I hate what has happened to Lego. I loved the boxes of many rectangular blocks when I was a kid. But Minecraft should still be fine with such diversions. It won't be losing anything.
The trailer was brilliant, and I lold a few times. But... I do like Mass Effect, and I like Minecraft (obviously). On the other hand, I like icecream, and I like Lamb Curry... but I'm not about to mix them both together. I will probably download this just to give it a fair shake, however I don't see myself using it too often. Then again, maybe I will find some inspiration there. I'm a little disappointed that the first texture pack is product placement for another franchise, but it's just business.

This basically sums up my feelings. Not a huge Mass Effect fan, and the texture pack (to me) seems kinda disappointing, so I'll take a pass.
