So, am working on a build with a spire hovering off the desert floor, and I am wanting to sculpt the ground underneath the spire into a whirlpool looking spiral, as though whatever force is keeping the obelisk off the ground is causing the sand underneath to swirl. I know that I want the whirlpool to be 55 blocks across, but from there, I have no idea how to plan out the rise, and the arcs so that it looks right.
I have tried MS Paint, and Minecraft Structure Planner, but they've been of limited usefulness. Are there any suggestions, or other Free programs you folks would recommend?
well start off with plotz to make the circle. then id start digging it out layer by layer creating Plateaus that meet in the center, then from there figure out the spiral and how many arches you want.
