So I made this infinite villager spawner on my world, it was made by tango tech, and it worked perfectly. In fact it worked to perfectly and was lagging my xbox considerably. So I had to kill a ton of them. Now it isn't working which has me concerned since I need allittle more villagers for my iron golem farm.
I know that on pc villagers will stop breeding if you kill one of them nearby, i believe this was added in a later update, but I'm not sure. I was wondering if maybe this was the issue as I have no idea why it suddenly stopped. Unless it's because I put some villagers in my iron golem farm already, but I don't think this is the case because you can put the infinite villager spawner right next to a village and it will still work.
I don't know of anyway this can be tested other that me just waiting a long time to see if it works again.
usually you don't want the spawning cell to be close to a villager, more or less a golem farm...O_o
At least from my understanding of it... They would affect each other too much, even on the pc edition. Usually you want them to be separate and far apart enough where they won't be affecting each other...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

I thought that, but then I've seen it working right next to a village before I believe, I might try and make an easy one further away, but getting the villagers where they should isnt an easy job really.
is it ever an easy job... the easiest method is via carts, but even that can be frustrating at times...
One thing I do know is that villager count is not global... otherwise in tests that I have run, the nearby village that is like 30+ blocks away would have produced villagers...
