Just to let everyone know... this update made me realize that xbox is for minecraft so I hope you all switch to PS4.. or xbox one lol so until then bye xbox minecraft hello to PS4!
That post did it. I changed my mind. I was thinking about possibly getting both, but now I wouldn't get a PS4 if you paid me.
But yes, eventually the xbox and the PS3 versions will be abandoned when the next gen's install base gets big enough and the sales decline on the 'old' ones to the point it's not worth keeping them updated anymore.
But that won't happen for "a while".
I'm assuming some expletives got deleted. Have fun doing whatever OP... I'm enjoying this update and have no plans to buy a PS4 or an Xbox One at this point in time. I'll wait until all you console warriors finish duking it out and then assess which one suits MY needs best.
There are so many people who need to have something new. This mentality is why there is always a new computer coming out or a new xbox, a new playstation, a new wii. Minecraft was the first game I ever used an update for. If they stopped updating it then I will still play it. I still play my Nintendo and my old super Nintendo. Rarely do I play my old 64. There is just not a lot of games. That were this all started. With Nintendo there was over 300 games. With super Nintendo there were over 100 maybe 200 and most were sequels to the Nintendo games in some way. 64 I think didn't even have 100 games. This mentality of "needing" the newer systems is why systems come out so often and before they should. If it doesn't have something more than just somewhat better graphics than I'll wait. I skipped dreamcast, game cubed, and the regular xbox. Forget xbox 1. Forget wii U. I'll wait till PS 6. Save some money because it won't be long and buy that time there be a whole new thing that makes it worth it!
