I tried to copy over a seed from the PC one last time. It was an old world from the Beta Version of Minecraft before it went into final, First time I ever played Minecraft on the PC. It actually worked this time. A good portion of the terrain was the same, still spawned in a snow biome, same jungle, and got the same vast ocean. Too bad the spawn zone was close to the south edge of the world (hence the vast ocean.) First time I've ever seen Minecraft cutoff terrain right at the edge.

I'm still happy I got to copy over my first world though. Who else tried this and succeeded?
For reference, I think the world was from Beta 1.9.

I did the reverse... My TU9-11 seed I entered into the pc version and now working on that one on the pc while I tango with another one I recently created on the xbox. That seed didn't pan out as well on the xbox since jungles were added... Although I will be going back to it like my 1.7.3 world, I probably will not be full blown working on it at the moment.

The last time I used a seed on the pc, even an old one was back when swamps were introduced just to see what I would get. Most of my old 1.7.3 & 1.8.2 seeds just are not so great now...:(

Haven't found one I liked entering seeds like that. That is from old versions. Not had much luck I guess...lol

I can never get a good world in MCX360. Most of the worlds I get are generated with biomes that look like they're just lazily put together. My favorite example is when I get a snowy biome next to a desert biome. This is why I'd rather bring over worlds from the PC.
