I just got the new update on the xbox 360 version of minecraft and the major thing i noticed about it that i hate is the minecarts go 3x slower then before... I have buildings at opposite ends of the map and it now takes for ever to get from one side to the other

anyone know how to make the tracks faster?
I think the mine carts work much better now, they are less laggy and run a lot smoother.
Welcome to the new slow reality. Just take in the sights as you roll leisurely along. Perhaps sing and whistle "Heigh Ho!" as you hold your pick in the minecart for minutes on end.

In TU12, 4J changed the minecart speed to make it on par with the PC version, and since I don't play Xbox, I can't help you, sorry.
