I mined obsidian and went to nether, managed to find a blaze spawner, built around it so they can't get out, killed a few blazes, found and killed some lava blobs, made a brewing table, and created resist fire + strength, made a full set of iron armor, went back into nether and killed enough blazes to score 1.5 stacks of blaze rods.
I used all the experience to enchant my sword which has: looting 3, knockback 2, sharpness 4. ...yup.
Diamond pickaxe is: fortune 3, efficiency 3, durability 4...yup!
haha yea...I kind of am at a loss for creativity since my last world I did so much...I found a skeleton spawner, so I think I will be making a record farm soon.
Started a new world, built a jungle tree house, tamed ocelots, bred cats, bred villagers, strip mined, nether with duel portals to quickly move from mine to top of tree house, tree farm, wheat farm, working on sugarcane farm (need paper for upcoming trading). Next: Iron golem farm? Then get bored and complain that TU14 isn't out.
I have made a jungle tree farm. I have harvested and placed roughly 1.5k jungles leaves and 3k jungle wood and no where near done. And thats 3k wood, not planks
I started making a huge underground house at level 20, discovered slimes spawn in my living room, then went out exploring the map to see what else was out there. Found five villages and ended up "adopting" the villagers in the last one, haven't been back to my house in days. Building the villagers new houses and watching them have lots of little baby villagers. At night, we all huddle up in the same house listening to the zombies bang on the doors (while I ,usually unsuccessfully, try and do a head count of villagers). They just stand around staring at me. It's a little freaky sometimes. I will get around to building a fence around the village to keep them safe, or maybe try and build enough houses to link up a nearby village and make an enormous town for them.

got on, explored the world planned my building place, made a big house totally out of jungle wood and jungle wood planks, went mining and woodcutting, gathered some food took it home made some chests; put it all in the chests and made some leather armor, went mining again found 8 diamonds made a sword a Pick-Axe and Axe, made iron armor got bored of the tradition build the house upwards model so made it go underground now i have 9 different rooms underground and the entrance on ground level, working on a slime farm and also a brewing ingredients farm

I may not be perfect, But without imperfection; life couldn't exist.
Started anew... The only thing I have done is make a tree farm of all 4 types out in the open near a village that I made sure to save. Simple easy and setup in one of the houses till I make my own. tamed a couple ocelots, and bred them once. other than that i really haven't don't much beyond exploring, mining, and harvesting...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
In my newly created build world: I've built a house next to a village, started renovating the village, and been killed repeatedly by the iron golem that spawned because I've been accidentally striking villagers who get in my way with a shovel.
In my oldest world: When into area that now has jungle climate (even though it still looks like normal forest) and tamed 2 ocelots and bred them. I now have 3 siamese cats in that world.
In my TU8 tutorial world: Discovered parts of rail line destroyed by reappearing blocks and confirmed that most areas where I had decided to build structures (in addition to the original castle area) have gone to desert. I hate desert... and will probably just shelve that world entirely. Currently posting info about the reappearing blocks issue to the bugs thread. Checked out another TU8 tutorial world I had started building in with a different friend and confirmed some of the same reappearing blocks in that world also.
In my one-chest challenge world: Just entered the world to see what the new climate. Went into the village near my home base and got instantly inundated by baby villagers. Save and exited without actually doing anything. Will get back to that one later.
Hardcore-Like Survival: Started a new seed, played for a bit, ultimately died. Will start on another new random seed again whenever I take the notion.

wait a second...The biomes can change in worlds that you have already built structures on?

This IS what biome shift is all about. The intangible things about a biome change to match what the terrain would be IF it were generated in the most recent update... BUT in old worlds, the terrain has been generated (if the area was explored) in an earlier update. So, the result is that the weather AND animal spawning patterns don't match the terrain. I still have forest terrain in that area (i.e. my trees are still oaks and birch), but the grass is bright jungle green and ocelots are now spawning. In the TU8 tutorial world, the area all around the castle has gone to desert climate (i.e. the grass is now that ugly yellow brown even by the animal pens (it used to be a nice forest green). The swamp area in front of the castle is now covered in swamp trees that are bright jungle green instead of the dark swamp green they should be.
Oldest surviving world - haven't loaded it up yet - considering it just to take a minecart ride.
TU 7 World - Haven't loaded it up yet - really conflicted on that one right now. Probably my longest running world, with countless hours invested, but I'm not sure I have any chance at spawning any of the new stuff. It begs for some jungle trees.
TU11 world - Loaded it up to find that my jungle biome is at my current building site. No previously unloaded jungles, so no jungle trees. Shelved for now.
New world - Hard / Survival: Spawned on an island with one tree. Punched wood, replanted trees, built a boat, and started exploring. Collected some resources and picked through a blacksmiths shop in a village I happened across. Locked up a few villagers, ya know just in case I stick with this world for the next update (yeah right!).
Found a suitable site across the ocean to the east, and set up a temporary structure. Closed myself in while waiting out the night, sleep / sun comes up - dig out a dirt block, and I promptly get gang banged by 3 creepers, blowing up my bed and chest full of the loot from my explorations. Re-spawned back on the island, had to wait on one of my replanted trees to grow. Made a boat, started hunting for my awesome building site with no map, found it just in time to see all my crap de-spawn right in front of me!
Started a mine shaft, built a small house playing with as many upside down stairs/slabs as I could squeeze into the small structure. Found 5 diamond veins at bedrock. Harvested the first 5 diamond ores I located (Pick axe + enchant table), and marked / dug out around the rest. Got obsidian for an enchanting table, and got my first enchantment. Went back for the rest of the diamonds.
Now refining resources for a walled city idea I have been kicking around.

started a new world, lived in a village for a few nights then moved to 0,0
made a large ring about 57 blocks across
started mining the entire thing to bedrock, about 15% complete
also have wheat and tree farms going, but still no house. just a raised platform with already a dozen+ chests of cobblestone.
I went into my old world.
Stared at the swamp turning into a jungle.
Obtained one of each cat.
Slaughtered the ones that were duplicates.
Never returned.
I've been in a server since....

So, I created a new world.
So far I've created a perimeter around 0,0. Any mob who falls into the 2 block high ditch gets moved down stream to a collection point.
There's a ravine I found under me, and I found about 6 diamond..
Made 1 diamond pick axe, 1 enchanting table, 1 diamond sword.

The minecraft life is good!
I'm still on step one

I Found a
I have found 15 diamonds, and I have a diamond pick, enchantment table, and a nether portal.
I have three villages in my world, and I found an abandon mine-shaft.
I died three times.
And I've been startled by the ambiance sounds 10 times.
