i have a slime question.do slimes spawn at certain areas or is it all random. i have tried using the xray glitch but it dosent help at all.how do i find them.NEED TO GETZZ THE SLIMEZZZZZZZZZZZ
Those are two browser apps you could use to find them.
To answer your question they spawn in 16x16 chunks determined by the seed # you use. The will spawn up to y40. y40 and below is where to look, but those slime finder apps really help.:D
And yes as far as I know it works in all versions, even all the xbox ones. I have used one myself for this purpose.

looking for a skeleton spawner also this is my seed -4462854660657122281 it is mostly hills there is a small snow biome at the heart of the map i play it on xbox so i dont know if it works on pc
the slime app and the mineshaft app on the second one I have ever used for finding something. Spawners are just stuff I happen upon. I actually play both versions of the game; pc and xbox.
mainly xbox due to getting lost all the time in the pc version...><
That is the reason I know it works... the slime finder and mineshaft one at least. Not really interesting in looking for things, as I like doing that on my own maps...>< not that I find many...

I don't think those slime finder work, because it said I have 4 chunks 2x2 that can spawn slimes, but cleared it out 20 blocks high from bedrock lit it up and nothing after hours of just standing around
Yes, they do work. You must be doing something wrong. First, make sure you actually cleared the correct area, and then make sure you wait at the correct distance (25 blocks away or a little more), that the slime chunks you're using are well lit, that the floors are made of opaque full blocks (like stone and jack-o-lanterns) and that nearby caves are lit up or have the floors half-slabbed to prevent other hostile mobs from spawning (and taking away slime-spawning chances).

Can they spawn on bedrock
I have had slimes spawn on my bottom floor where the bedrock is so I would say yes they can spawn on bedrock.
