Since TU12 came out ive been hearing A LOT of strange sci fi like sounds while mining. Most sounds like a spaceship mixed with dragging your fingers inside a piano. One sounds like a slower higher pitched gong sound. I know they added ambient cave sounds but idk if thats what im hearing. I tweeted Mojang support and they cant even tell me what these sounds are. Any of you guys have any ideas or have you heard them too???? Any answers would be amazing cuz these are driving me insane not being able to find its source
I know exactly what you mean, I've been weirded out by them too. I've heard some noises when I was close to a strong hold and when I was close to a monster spawner that sound like you explain, but the weird thing is that I hear them when I'm not by them as well (at least to my knowledge)
hey Kiori, you ever try to do a search like that in the xbox version of internet explorer? it is nearly impossible. that is why I will often post because I have tried a search and failed and still want an answer. xbox explorer is a joke at best, it takes forever to load even the simplest pages, and 70% of the time, it doesn't even bother to try to load some pages. (hell, it took 25 min for this page to load). when I make a new thread, it means I have tried to find the information I am looking for and failed miserably because of the P.O.S. of an internet explorer provided by xbox.
If not, 4J may've added secret ambient noises to the 360.
Stay fluffy~
Here is more info on them: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Ambience
You learn to get used to them. They can often help you locate a cave.
Or half the time, a 1x1x1 block that you missed filling in.
Stay fluffy~
