Maybe he has a LIVE account, but no access to the internet from his console? It's not really that uncommon. I had a gamertag since I was about 14. Down the road, I sold my console and didn't buy a new one for several years. When I did, my account was still there; they don't just cease to exist.
He may not even have an internet connection in his home. He might be at the library right now. He could be at a friend's house. He might even be posting from a smartphone using his 2/3/4G service. Granted, he could turn the hotspot on with said phone, or take said console to said friend's house, but that's beside the point. I'm just saying to think carefully before boldly expressing such loose assumptions.
Start with automatic fire/arrow shooters with dispensers. Place 2 or 3 repeaters all facing the same adjacent to each other in a straight line, go to the other side and do the same thing as step one but the opposite way, and put REDSTONE on the end lines and in the middle of the red stone on one side place a lever on the other side and opposite to that lead it out two and place a line of REDSTONE and repeaters in front of all of those leading into dispensers. Load them up and go to the lever and turn it on then off very fast. Hope this helped
