In minecraft PC, wolves spawn only in forests and taiga biomes, but in minecraft xbox 360 wolves spawned in any biome. What i am asking is, do ocelots spawn in any biome like wolves in xbox version, or only in the jungle? In addition do ocelots spawn on peaceful?
If of course you have one, If you don't have a jungle they will spawn outside it. I believe this because it happened in one of my old worlds (just like mooshrooms did.)

actually in old worlds that is result of a biome shift. In a new world or current they will only spawn in jungle. I got mushroom biome in my old world where the grass was a bright green color. no mushroom grass. Although that area is considered that biome due to the shift. Not saying you are wrong, just half right. Under the hood says other wise. What we see and what the code does are actually in a way two different things...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
On the Xbox 360, wolves only spawn in forest and taiga biomes. They are occasionally seen in the plains, but one has to remember that the plains biomes now have small forests within them. I believe wolves also spawn in peaceful mode on the PC, so it would be expected that they would spawn in peaceful mode on the Xbox as well. Ocelots, however, do not spawn in peaceful mode on the PC, so I would not expect them to spawn in peaceful mode on the Xbox. They only spawn in jungles, and I would expect this to hold true for the Xbox as well. As for them spawning outside of jungles in older worlds, this has to do with the same issue as climate change. If you generated a TU12 version of your old world seed, you would probably find that ocelots will spawn in the older world in the same locations as where jungles are located in the TU12 version of that world. IF the TU12 version of that world does not have a jungle, then I would not expect ocelots to spawn in that world at all. When mushroom islands were first brought in, I had mooshrooms spawning in my village (which was located on a plain). However, when I did a new world of that same seed, I discovered that a mushroom island was located right near where my village was on the old version of that seed.

However ocelots only spawn in jungles, where as wolves in forests (this includes the snowy one.)
