I've recently become very bored with the game. Stopped playing regularly after my leaderboards got reset, and now I just can't get back into it. Thought the update would get me interested again, but it's still just lackluster. I think alot of it has to do with GTA5 coming out so soon, with that game in sight, everything else pales in comparison.

I only play MC when I have
motivated to do so, And After
time passes that motivation slowly loses
its flame and then dies out. I then Become "bored"
I'll then play something else or perhaps do something
else until I feel motivated to play again.
usually if I get bored with a game ( not jsut minecraft mind you) I juggle two or more other games to keep me from suffering from stale gameplay. eventually I go back to the game I was bored with in the first place... of course due to my limited choice to play much else. I have like 4 xb360 games to pick from ( Minecraft, risen, Skyrim, Dead island and fable 3( I had a copy of fable 2 but My brother decided to perma-loan it to our cousin... all the same really.. all of these games are basically his... Oh and I also have Fallout 3 which I play when I feel up to a themed playthrough))

to me its mostly because im guessing my imagination is limited
people say that an imagination has unlimited possibilities
but no one ever said that your able to view those all those possibilities
and that it would be easy coming up with stuff like that
and i seen people in minecraft build so many amazing things that i look at things i had fun building as crappy
compare to other people's builds and idk why but it gets to me then i get bored of the build ive done that i was happy

I tried doing an archetectual home....i saw keralis and well i finished it so i never gave up
but now i abandon it
and re-designed it and made it better
and i wanna abandon it again
im stuck :\
i guess its because i wanna make a team who i can build with
but its hard for xbox :\
and there are many things xbox still dont have yet
I never truly get bored of minecraft, maybe not in the mood to play, but not bored. I have an assortment of games I switch between; depending on my mood. After all gotta have a game for every mood I have or a selection within each mood.
I guess why I don't get bored is that I am easily entertained, and entertain myself for as long as i remember. Which is also to say I have quite a sense in my own imagination. I believe every one has imagination, it is reality that seems to bog it down in some cases where it could be trying to live up to what someone else did could be another. I am one to attempt to see as many possibilities as I can within my own reasoning and intelligence. Which I may not be the best at, but good enough to keep me doing what I do.
Creativity comes to me naturally, and to compare what I have done to others is simply not something I really like doing. If I can come close to what I envision, then I am satisfied to a point. After all I may like it one moment, but wanna change it in the next moment. I just enjoy the process mainly while I am building.
Maybe that is the reason some of my underground builds look like a Labyrinth maze. (The movie if you know it.) But other than that I might only compare how my style that I come to realize is similar to others or even not similar. How each thing I do differently makes the way I build my own sense of style. If anything it is others in those comparisons that draw more inspiration continuing a cycle of creativity that stirs within me. My own builds even stir that creativity or wanna to add this or that or build something else entirely to add to the overall look. I tend to look at the small and big things standing back at what I have done. It is just the way I see things I guess.
I know not everyone could possibly see things the way I do, but it is nice to see other develop their own sense of style or way to go about things. Just adds onto the pool of what and how builds come about. I thirst for knowledge all the time in a creative way, or similar...
If anyone gets bored, maybe you have played so long you get burnt out. That could mean many things actually not just burnt out. There are many other games out there, as not all games suit everybody; otherwise we would be in a Utopia where there are no wars and no body seems to escalate into a major conflict. Everybody is different and will either love, hate, like, dislike, or grow tired of a continous action. It is like some could do a repetitive thing over and over and not get tired of it, because they get use to it. While some others get tired of it after the 3 tick of the clock.
Anyway this post might sound confusing to quite a few people, but this thread is really confusing to me... Just the way I see things really.:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I haven't gotten bored of it yet. I usually play after work, for a couple of hours. I ONLY play on creative mode too; just enjoy building stuff, I don't play online.

Think Your Doing It Wrong.....Or Builders Block As It Was Mentioned....No Ideas And To Many Blocks Can Make Anyone feel Overwhelmed Or Bored With The game

AWESOME advice, in Minecraft your only limit is your imagination, its truly what you make of it.
