I used to get overly excited about diamonds. Like legit way too excited. These days it's more exciting to see how many diamonds I get from one block with my fortune 3 pick.

It's been over a year, but it was probably something like, "Oh, hey, Diamonds."

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. I always used to get excited when I found diamonds. Now not so much but the excitement is still there. It's more like getting excited when that fortune pick gives you 4 pieces from 1 block. IMO everyone should carry a fortune III pickaxe when mining.

first time I found diamonds, was so excited. I know where they're found (y; 12) so it's easy not to get too excited, and I already have a full set of diamond gear.

I had just learned that diamonds were down on levels lower than 16, but I didn't have a map (lost it). So I read that I could dig down to bed rock and then level 13th was best to mine because of lava. So I dug down a staircase in a square path and managed to get to bedrock. When I started to mine around level 13th I found diamonds super quick. I was not just excited but relieved because I thought it would take forever. Now I still get happy because even though I have multiple sets of armor, pickaxe's, and a sword, I got hardly any in supply

Pretty sure I squealed "DIAMONDS!" and punched the nearest baby in the face.

One of the reasons I picked "gargamel" as my world seed, way back, is that people were posting diamond coordinates for this seed in a thread in the MS Xbox forum for MC. I would run all over the map and dig down to the indicated spots. Haha! What a noob.

I squealed louder than a fangirl at a Justin Beiber concert.

When I found my first diamonds I found 1 and I still have to this day.

First time I found Diamonds. I got a bit too over-excited. Also got a bit too careless. I fell into lava and died. Luckily I had saved just before I mined them. I've still got that Diamond Pickaxe I made when I mined the diamonds. I have it in an Item Frame in my 1st house that I constantly Destroy constantly has Unfortunate Accidents happen to it.

So there.

My first time: Yay! Diamonds!...Crap lava... double crap no bucket. I'll just be extra careful then. *Watch diamonds burn in lava.* Nothing teaches better than a loss.

First time I found diamonds, i learned the hard way that you need an iron pickaxe. dammit!!!!
