So securing the area, building shelter, setting up a stable source of food, preventing hostiles from getting past our perimeter
I don't tend to bother with weapons or diamonds. They're not needed. The only tools I need is a stone pickaxe and a wooden hoe for farming. I may build an iron pickaxe for the rare stuff.
I have no use for enchanting, potions or getting to the Nether or End.
I don't build shelter underground, as that's too easy. Of course, when I play this way, I am in Survival mode.
I also like building stuff, though I usually try to stick to a theme for a world or area. When I'm really into building, I use Creative, as it's just not worth my time to grub for supplies.
I think that's me as well. I like the variety of "problems" this game can present - from survival problems to parkour problems to mob management/trap problems to farming problems to redstone wiring problems to creative building problems to setting up various little experiments to better understand the different elements that have been put into the game. It's one game where "skill" is not solely defined by one's ability to wave a weapon around.
NB: I still really suck at redstone - but I'm working on it.

Every time i start a world i make a pick axe ,And go mining find 5 to 9 diamonds before i leave the cave. Find a mixed biome that has sand ,snow and swamp in one space which is pretty rare then build my house.... and after that create the nether portal then start a new world and do the same.
That made me laugh...The animation in comparison to what you do....
OP: I guess what i like in minecraft is building things while managing my resources... I do like redstone, but only for the simple things like farms, doors, and rail lines...
Building is a passion that fleshes out my creativity or an outlet for it to some degree. Always getting more ideas with the terrain and excavated tunnels/land, if not my own creations to add more and more as I go along.:D
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
i kinda cant believe no one said BLOCKS! my favorite part about minecraft is the blocks, creativity, and how original this game is. yeah you may hav others close to the same but this game i believe makes games like terria and castleminer and castleminerz dirt houses compared to mincraft castles

Make a machine that can integrate that

Retired StaffHonestly, I don't know what that formula is even for. I just found something on Google image search that looked confusing.
I have implemented this:
And I'm working on something that can do this:
I think that's me as well. I like the variety of "problems" this game can present - from survival problems to parkour problems to mob management/trap problems to farming problems to redstone wiring problems to creative building problems to setting up various little experiments to better understand the different elements that have been put into the game. i..... umm LOL
i reached my number of positive votes today
I really enjoy exploring a new map and finding neat stuff like terrain features.
