I have been playing and tinkering with red stone and I made an infinite loop circuit or pulse circuit. The thing is though its incredibly buggy, it will stop at random times and just not work. Any ideas on how I could fix that or how I could tell Mojang?
is it fully auto? like where it goes tick.tick.tick? becuz if so i have one and what you hav to do im pretty sure is have the repeaters on 3 ticks then 4 then back to 3. and it should be good. the reason for this is because if not the thing will go to fast and like cut its self out.
The guy above is rite. If it goes too fast it shuts down.
Since when? I've used 1-tick clocks a million times without a problem. They used to break, but an update fixed them at some point. Not sure why they wouldn't work, unless the most recent update broke them again. There should be no reason for repeaters to need a specific setting, that defeats the entire point of a clock. You should be able to set them to any specific frequency.
idk but whenever i try it less then 3 ticks it shuts itself off so it couldve been tu9 or tu11 that ruined it. i just got into doing redstone alot and hat was the only way it worked im gonna try different ways tonight.
It hard to say what's going on without seeing how its built. But anything less than a three-clock will burn-out the redstone torch... if a redstone torch is used in the build. A build that uses repeaters only should work fine.
Rapid pulsars also work fine, but I get the feeling that's not what you're talking about.
Is there anyway you can explain or, better yet, post a screenshot of what you have?
